While traveling far away from home, we woke up in our hotel to the smell of a very hot wheelchair battery that instead of charging overnight, went rogue and blew up. Saturday morning in Des Moines and a flight out on Sunday. I was majorly stressed. HAPPILY, Central States Mobility is OPEN on Saturdays from 10-2. I was there at 10 with my still-toasty lumpy battery, and Nigel had me back up and running in under an hour with new batteries & charging cable. Price was absolutely fair, despite it being a true emergency and him knowing that - and my chair is once again carrying me instead of me pushing it (which was *much* slower!)

“Above and beyond service. Even made a Sleep doctor appointment for me, within hours, just to help me out and get me what I needed. I was a walk in, but both the manager, RT and nurses treated me like I wanted to be treated; respectful, thoughtful and thorough. I will return to this store and can recommend it to anyone who needs assistance with supplies or RT care for Cpap or Bipap.”
