“I really like Aldi. I like the produce, dairy, meat and snacks. Not a big fan of their pasta products and some of their frozen treats, like the pizza but overall I really like Aldi. I shop weekly there. Most of their prices are cheaper than the other stores. The employees are friendly and helpful. Just don't forget to bring a quarter in you need a shopping cart. It's refunded if you return the cart but you will need one at the beginning of your shopping spree. They have bags to purchase but I usually take bags with me. They don't bag your groceries. I'm ok with that. I save money each trip so I'm happy.”
“Stop by here if you want some amazing breads, desserts, and other bakery items. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, some great niche sodas. If you are visiting Burlington, IA you need to stop by.
I never noti ced before, but they have Elk products from a local vender. Taking home some ground elk patties to try them out!!”
“My family and I came to breakfast at this Hy-Vee the morning after my father-in-laws wedding. We had 11 people come in with a reservation. Jonathan, the manager, is AMAZING! He talks to his staff so nicely and is busy going table to table making sure guests are happy... I literally overheard him tell a server "don't worry about anything else, just worry about the customers... I'll handle the rest". Jonathan is an extremely hard worker and Hy-Vee is lucky to have him!”
“I am handicapped and use a walker. I cannot handle my groceries and the walker to get to the car. I tell them I need help getting to the car and the people who take my cart to my car and load my groceries are so nice and polite. I so appreciate their help.”
“Sherri and Dawn were very helpful! I live in West Virginia and they helped me over the phone and even texted me pictures of plant options. They filled out a card for me and did same day delivery. The customer service was outstanding and extremely appreciated! I truly thank ya for going above and beyond!”
“I want to love this store, but it really doesn't compare to other Hy-Vee stores. It is clearly an older, smaller store and doesn't have the same selection. However, compared to the other Hy-Vee in this town, this one is superior. This is the only grocery store I go to in this town.”

“The OLD RECIPE IS BACK!!!! Cause these taste just as I remembered!!! I just received three large bags of Sterzing’s potato chips as one of my Father’s Days presents. Shipped all the way here to my wife in Connecticut as her secret surprise to me! I love these chips. I grew up in Iowa eating these chips for two decades! YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER POTATO CHIP!!! P.S. we ordered them about four to five years ago, when I guess the gov’t interfered with the recipe and they totally tasted different then…but now all those healthy saturated fats are back and they are back to tasting original and better than ever!!!! So all you people out there worried about the “new recipe”…..don’t because the originals ARE BACK, just the way we have ALWAYS LOVED THEM!!!”

The young girl they have now, that was working and helped me today, is fantastic! Great customer service and super friendly. Overall, they really do have a great staff now and will continue to use them for my medications going forward!”

“Have had issues with insurance pushing and pulling me around when it comes to one particular prescription. I always have to call and ask what is going on. Christie has been absolutely AMAZING and has gone above and beyond for me every time. She has made sure that every single time I get the medicine I need. Everyone always seems to want to complain about this location, so I wanted to share my positive experience!!”

“Even though we have 2 HyVee grocery stores; this place always reminds me of an old fashioned small town grocery store. And usually they have everything I need or want. This is the only place in town where I can get my big tubs of Parkay margarine. No one else carries them. And I love the meat department; they have always made me feel like I'm a very important customer.

Since leaving the first review. I have become even more of a supporter. Recently I had special request from my wife (who was having a GI procedure) for lemon-lime jello. Before I drove 20 minutes to town, I knew Walmart wouldn't have it so I called and a very nice Deb double checked that they had it.
So I can say as a fact that 99% of the time they will have what you're wanting for groceries.”
