Bout time they installed self check out with how short staffed they have been becoming. But on the other hand... if they keeping they're employees stocking the store, then it should look nicer. “I enjoy going to Dollar tree cuz I'm doing crafting right now and they have a lot of interesting things. My one Downfall with them and I have contacted the company and spoke to the several square managers they sell bottled products and charge you the money for the deposit and get their not accepting of the cans back in their stories that I don't think is right. No one has replied as of yet”

“This is the first time I've ever been at this location, I have been multiple locations between Chariton and Corydon and then today was in one in South Des Moines off of army and that was a disaster. This store was clean and stocked something I have never seen in any of the Dollar generals I've been to in Iowa and the lady working named Jody, was nice and personable and helpful and friendly. She was apologizing for the fact that due to the extreme cold weather that it was cold in the store. I have never had such a good experience in a Dollar general”

“Seriously, let’s remember that it’s Dollar Tree . I didn’t see anyone prepping a red carpet for me and I’m pretty sure they don’t need to cater to any one of us with white gloves. That said-this location rocks my socks!! Best one I’ve been to for size and selection (the only one in this area with crafters corner AND a $5+ section y’all). I thought it was pretty tidy considering and the employees were nice. I’m honestly not sure anymore about what some people expect when they are out in actual reality these days >:}”

It's like they need a bigger store front in order to sell what they have to offer. On the bright side though, the ladies are great with helping you find what you are wanting!”

“I had a good shopping experience at this Family Dollar as I always do when I go into a Family Dollar. The prices are competitive as is to be with any store, when it comes to house decoration you can find some unique items for affordable prices which I like. The only thing that I have an issue with which seems to be an issue at all Family Dollars, is the fact that there Overstock is always in the center of the aisles which makes it difficult for shopper's what carts to navigate the store. This also makes the store look cluttered or unorganized which I know is not the case. I would and will continue to shop at Family Dollar even if its just to run in and grab a quick bag of chips or to spend some time and see what they have new.”

“The normal store for me is on University...but as luck would have it they have spent a lot of the past couple months closed. Soooo....off to 6th Ave I go. I arrive here and I'm amazed. This store is larger, cleaner, organized, and I feel as tho there is a larger selection to chose from. I wish I was just impressed with some of them ladies running the register.”
