Our daughter had her debit card stolen and a fraudulent transaction was posted. Our local Linn Area worked with us to quickly to deactivate the old card and issue a new card, and the fraudulent charge has been reimbursed. The associates at Linn Area Credit Union are ALWAYS professional and helpful. They treat me like I am their only customer. I also appreciate the fact that they support The Teacher Store. The LACU gives resources to teachers to provide students with access to supplies that they may otherwise be missing. Nice work!
Linn Area Credit Union was founded in 1935 when eleven Cedar Rapids teachers each put up $5 of their own money. By the end of the first year, the Cedar Rapids Teachers’ Credit Union (as it was then known) had 72 members.
Today, Linn Area Credit Union has five locations and serves nearly 25,000 members in 22 counties.
