Raygun is a cool store filled with all kinds of unique and fun stuff. It is an Iowa-based company with a store in the quaint downtown Cedar Falls area and a bigger location in Des Moines. The place is overwhelming in the best ways possible, with a sheer volume of graphic tees, stickers, water bottles, journals, candles, coasters, pins, bags, notebooks, and more. They have specific products geared towards Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids, with lots of Iowa-specific jokes and references. The vast majority of items are custom made, printed, and designed by them, featuring very funny sayings, on-trend expressions, and designs that encapsulate the Midwesterner state of mind. This includes pro-choice, LGBTQIA, and BLM merchandise, and even items for dogs. The store is large with two levels and an upstairs, dressing rooms, and restrooms. Employees are nice, friendly, and provide good service. The experience is delightful and bold, perfect for those with a sense of humor, though some items may be considered overpriced. It is a wonderful place for finding unique souvenirs and one-of-a-kind goodies.
