The Ashton Hill Farm team has a wealth of experience and expertise that is utilized with great organizational skill and a flawless execution of plans. MJ, took a small collection of ideas, dreams, and hopes and shaped them into one of the greatest days of our lives. She was attentive but not over bearing, calm but not dismissive, and operated with a sense of grace and experience that could do nothing but instill the utmost confidence in her ability. Our friends still discuss our wedding to this day and I am certain that it will live in fame for many years to come. All of this is thanks to such an amazing team. A group of individuals that not only work in the wedding industry but also in the business of wonderful memories. “We have had two events now at The Classic Event Center I can't say enough good things about this place. The overall look and atmosphere is great the bar staff were kind and worked there butts off we had about 200+ in attendance for our event and there was still plenty of space. The sound traveled perfectly as we had 6 Hard Rock/Metal bands performing. If you're looking for a place to plan an event for any purpose I highly recommend The Classic Event Center. Shout out to Carly & Andy for not just serving drinks and being a lot of fun but also being a very welcomed part of the event. “This is a great bowling alley with super helpful & friendly staff. It's got the old school styling that I personally prefer. The steps down into the pit. Helps keep bowlers that are trying to focus separated from the traffic traveling up and down the lanes. Food and drinks are fairly priced, and the burgers from the snack bar are a solid choice. The staff in the pro shop are friendly and willing to help with any questions about anything bowling related. Cost for games is super affordable, allowing even large families or friend groups to go out for a good time at a relatively low cost. I can't recommend this bowling alley enough. It'll be my personal go-to lanes for a long as I'm in Cedar Rapids.”

“We got married on 3.6.2026 and could not have been happier with our experience at The HarMac. First - Travis and Lia were both amazing every step of the way. They were very quick to respond when I had questions, flexible, and more than willing to help me out whenever I had a question or concern no matter how last minute. The staff (bar and general) were awesome. Our guests hit the bar fast and hard, and they handled the volume with ease and professionalism. As the bride, I appreciated how each bartender made sure to notice me right away and never kept me waiting for a drink. The venue is beautiful, easily accessible, and functional. All night long our guests would not stop talking about how impressed they were with the space. Finally - their pricing structure felt super fair and transparent. We could not have asked for a more perfect evening for our wedding!”

“Wonderful music at an outstanding venue - sad that non reservation folks randomly threw their coats on chairs in “their aisle” and claimed the empty seats were taken. They were not! Ushers would get involved but who wants to cause a scene- I May not come back.”

“Great outdoor venue. Reserved seating in the center area. Bring your lawn chair seating at the back and sides. The lines at the merchandise, food and drink places were long at times. Fairly easy to get in and out of. I'd sure go again if I liked the band.”

“Staff is the cream of the crop here! Each person has been super kind to me my wife and my little dog Tony while in town for a friends wedding. The breakfast is typical American breakfast style and they offer a large selection of adapters if you have a picky kiddo with you. I cannot state enough about how kind everyone is though and that is a hard delivery when I am a grump without my morning coffee ?”
