Really the worst possible customer service in the pharmacy. They told us a prescription for horrible pain would be ready in 10 minutes, it took 40. Causing us to miss a family Christmas lunch. Can’t wait to go back to our own pharmacy.

WalgreensThe nice thing about Walgreens is it's a convenience store as much as a drugstore so they carry some of the items that I need sometimes from Viva paper towels, Laundry soap,to food- some groceries and typical convenience store things like chips, donuts, pop, water and ice cream. The first aid items are extensive and they have a large health and beauty area. They also have a small household supply area and school and office area. The customer service was great I had two different staff members took me directly to the item I was looking for. When the line started to get long they called someone up to the front right away. Just remember it's about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. I really try to look them in the eye when I'm checking out and tell them I appreciate the work they're doing. It's a small thing but I think all of us can do it. “Be kind whenever possible and it's always possible- Dali Lama….

Long waits were routine for this pharmacy location. Appointments are not honored and take a back seat to walk in traffic. Techs are usually friendly and doing their best, but the pharmacy manager was smug about and unsympathetic to the bad customer service her pharmacy was providing.

I never like to be critical of anyone’s customer service if I can help it, but I waited 55 minutes in the drive-thru at this Walgreens to pick up a prescription! Once you are “boxed in you can’t get back out of line! So frustrating.

Absolute worst pharmacy in the state of Iowa. Understaffed, disrespectful, and prescriptions are never ready when they tell you they are. If I could give it zero stars I would but one is as low as it goes.

I want to commend the pharmacist, tech, and counter person who were working last night (10/9/23). I do not know how many people they helped or prescriptions they filled but they did so with poise and compassion. Yes,, the line and wait were long but they were doing their best. It’s not their fault that they were way understaffed. I appreciate their efforts!

I had the pleasure of being on hold for 34 minutes before I decided my call wasn't getting answered.Betting a small business wouldn't let their customers wait 34 minutes on hold.Strong work Walgreens.

The customer service at this Walgreens is some of the worst I’ve experienced in my life. I was in line at the pharmacy for an hour only to be told the pharmacy was closed when I finally got to the front. No heads up. No warning. Just horrible horrible customer service.

Booked an appointment for flu and COVID shot and didn’t get in until an hour later. Why even book an appointment if they’re going to be an hour late. Go somewhere else.

I went into the Walgreens to purchase some items around 9:15 pm. I waited at the front to be checked out for a good 10 minutes. There was not a single worker in sight. I decided to call the store to see if someone could come check me out. When the lady answered, i politely asked for someone to come up front. She did not say a single word and hung up on me instead. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

They don't deliver prescription on time. They don't give value for others time. I gave heads-up that I will be coming in next 30 minutes and yet they are saying 15 minutes more. The prescription was sent 3 hours ago.

Extremely unprofessional and awkward when cashiers are fighting with each other and then manager gets involved and even more fighting occurs in front of a waiting line of customers . The most uncomfortable moment I’ve ever had at a store. Decided to forget my purchase and left the store it was that bad. Wont ever be going back.

I'm new to the area & have had 3 trips to this Walgreens over the past 2-wks. With the 1st visit, the cashier had no idea where several items were in the store (no big deal, if she's a new employee), but she also had a penchant for coughing spells without covering her mouth, didn't wear a mask & coughed often. We're still in a Covid world, woman... wear a mask & have your coughing spells into that... & if you're sick, please stay home.2nd visit... they didn't have what I needed (even though I'd checked online prior to visiting & it inaccurately said the item was in stock)... it wasn't & there was no replacement. There was no one to ask... the cashier was an old, old gent & I didn't feel confident that he'd be able to assist, so I left.3rd visit was for a Covid test. They were confused. I've had 8-10 Covid tests in 2-yrs in FL Walgreens & all was well... quick, efficient, I was always in & out in 10-15 min tops.My online instructions (attached) said to go inside the store to the counter for the test... odd, since I've always gone through the drive-thru.I showed them my instructions, they had no idea why they said so & said they'd never seen such instructions before & then they directed me to the drive-thru. They had quite a backup so I waited 20-min to take the test. The attendant, who I think was new, couldn't get the intercom to work, so it was like an SNL skit with me telling her I couldn't hear her, only static & her talking away. Fortunately, I'd taken the test a dozen times, so knew what to do.She said it would take 2-hrs for the rapid test & they'd email me. Fair enough, I left. 2-hrs later, I got a phone call, which I missed... couldn't grab my phone fast enough. All the msg said was "This is Melody at Walgreens. Can you please call me?"Great. They'd never called me before, so I felt sure I must have Covid, since the reason for my test is that 5-6 people at work are out with Covid. So, I had to call into work to take off the entire day, after promising I'd be in at 12noon, because I called back Melody & was already ONE HOUR into waiting in the phone queue. I didn't want to make anyone ill at work, even though I have no symptoms, until I found out I'm not a carrier.Held on ANOTHER ONE & ONE-HALF HOURS to finally reach Melody who told me the new girl at the drive-thru with the staticy intercom put the "thing in the wrong thing" (how technical & professional) & could I come in later that afternoon for another test. Uh, no... you already wasted 5-hrs of my time & want me to trust you again? Nah, I'll make another online appt & go to another Walgreens in another city tomorrow.I was so stunned when I spoke to her & later angry that I didn't get the chance to say to Melody that she left a very worrisome, thoughtless VM. I will write to the company (they offer no email online) to tell them the following... if you need to call a patient under such circumstances, tell them in the VM that a mistake was make, we apologize, can you come in for another test? WHY did you make me wait for 2-1/2 hrs on the phone for no reason when I could have just scheduled another appt online or already visited the store for another test by then? WHY did you make me worry that I had Covid & waste an entire vacation day for your mistakes?Bad decisions all around today Walgreens.I don't like your store... I'll go to CVS or hit another WG (for Covid testing only), which is too bad, since I only live 1-1/2 mi away.Melody, you utter dolt... you caused worry for HOURS! Shame on you. THINK!0* out of 5... go anywhere else.
