“I'm a Quad City native and always forget about the Book Rack, until I went for the Iowa Indie Bookstore Trail. The store is very well organized and has a wide selection of used books. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back in the future!”
“I just wanted to give kudos to the three employees who were working at the store on Wednesday, 6/10/26. We had just walked into the store when a tornado warning was issued. They did a great job getting everyone checked out and safely out of the store if they wanted to leave, while also offering anyone who wanted to stay a safe place to wait out the storm.
We were from out of town, so we chose to stay because we really didn't have anywhere else to go. Thank you to Graylon for keeping everyone entertained while we waited. I didn't catch the name of the other employee who was there that night, but she was incredibly nice as well.
I especially want to give credit to Madison. It was her first day as a manager, and she did an amazing job staying calm, keeping everyone informed, and making sure everything was taken care of.
Thank you to the BAM employees for keeping us safe and allowing us to wait out the storm in your store. Your kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. ❤”

“My husband and I have been going to Source Bookstore for several years. There is a huge selection of used books, vinyl, CDs, DVDs, magazines, etc. The books are organized by genre, which makes it easy to find what section your looking for and the staff are very helpful if you need help finding something specific. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in Davenport!”
