“Prices have gone way up. Smaller items are still reasonable. If you wait for the sales it's pretty reasonable on everything. You never know what you will find there. I check it out almost every week.”
“Awesome prices, really cool selection, adorable staff...seriously, probably the best thrift store (like actual thrift store) around! Also, the cutest little displays ever!”

“When I arrived at the rehab in the early spring of 2009 I didn't like being there one bit. But after making friends and finding out it wasn't so bad I started to have a much better time. I didn't stay as long as I probably should have but when my best friend at the rehab overdosed in the bathroom and died, I couldn't stay any longer. It wasn't the same. His name was James Jaggers. Now that I'm dieing from brain cancer I think about him a lot. He helped me through a difficult time in my life. We will see each other again soon. I miss you Jim!”
“Very well staffed with friendly helpful folks so much inventory !!
I think though they could at least reduce from regular pricing the stained clothes.. Blessings”
“Amazing thrifting experience!! One of the most put together and well organized thrift stores I've been in! Lots of treasures (including quite a large selection of jewelry and purses). The rooms are well organized and even the clearance room has things worth looking at - I got a sweater from a good brand in nice condition for $2.99. The lady who I talked to who works there is super helpful, quite, and knowledgeable about their stock. Lots of more vintage and modern thrifting finds. Bonus points for donating to such a good cause!!!”

“This is THE BEST Plato's Closet I have ever shopped. Everything is organized. Shopping for clothes is a breeze with their size and color coordination. The quality and interest of what they had available was not boring and cookie cutter. The last Plato's Closet I was at in Central IL looked like a cookie cutter teen shop. This Davenport store has much more variety and things for everyone. it's also better organized, cleaner, and had staff walking around actively cleaning and straightening the racks and helping customers in addition to those working at the counters and taking in merchandise. There weren't boxes and bins of unsorted items or things stacked up waiting to be placed. Granted, some of that may be the layout or size of a particular Plato's Closet store and their storage space, but this store seems well managed and the staff was polite and friendly. Other stores I have visited have staff that are rude or ignore customers instead of being inviting and helpful. The bins at a previous store held shoes that clearly were not selling and would have been a better fit for a salvation or donation center. They had often been separated from their mate, and you had to dig around to find the match. It was ridiculous.
This store had fewer merchandise bins, and paired items were clearly organized and clean/labeled- and attached to each other. They were also full of items that looked like you might actually want to buy them.
Kudos to the staff and management of this location, for doing what apparently not all others can! Great work and thanks for being helpful and polite.”

“Excellent representation of what Salvation Army is all about! Keeping the prices low for their customers and providing a clean and well organized store at the same time.
Workers here were very helpful and saw no lines whatsoever. Personally I feel this is the best thrift store in the Quad Cities!”
“I love this place. Good selection and great prices. I bought so much stuff today. Dresses $4.50. Shirts (Ts, long sleeves) $2.50. Shoes, I saw from $4-8. Pants, $4, and shirts $3 (I think). Highly recommend.”
