Our flight was delayed and came in late, like 11 pm. There were about 20 people in line to get a car. The two individuals behind the counter stayed very calm and got us all through and out to our cars as quickly as they could. I had a very good experience and with the large number of people we were taken care of in a friendly way. Very satisfied.

The checkout was seamless and super fast. Car was super clean. The crew at the car return was very friendly and fast. From arriving at the return check point to walking into the airport took less than 5min. Highly recommended!

I have used National for years now and they rarely disappoint. Most recently in Des Moines we rented a car and the young man at the counter was terrific. We were in and out quickly and got a great svu for our weekend.

I don't remember the name of the man that helped me on 9/29 at 1am, but he was incredible. Well after closing time, I was thrilled to see that they had stayed late to accommodate our late flight and that they had my car ready to do. Smiling and helpful, they had me on my way in 3 minutes.Returning the car was just as easy. Cheerful and experienced Jake asked me a few questions and got me on my way.Really appreciate this as my first intro to Iowa. Nice work, National team.

My wife rented a car at this location and she said it was dark so she really couldn’t see what was going on with the car. Well we she brought it back the return agent went right to a spot on the car that had damage and started a report. My wife told him that she was never in an accident but did have proof of the car’s condition before she left the lot. Long story short fought and lost and now forking over $1000 for the damage she is sure she didn’t create. Very suspicious behavior by the car return agent. Lesson learned, take video of the car before leaving the lot and point out any damage to the agent. Record that as well. CYA

Reserved a gas efficient car... they gave me a truck. They have a sedan in the lot and won't give it to me. Come on guys, wasting my time. I don't want to come back in.

I have been renting just about every week from DesMoine airport location since mid Dec of 2022. I have started to know some of the representatives names and vice versa.Great, friendly and professional customer services from checking out the car and returning the car in the car lot!

No, no, no. I am the highest level with National for 15 years and I arrive at rental counter at 11:45 at night and they tell me they have no car for my reservation. So stuck at airport needing to get to my hotel which is 30 minutes away at midnight and no car. And no advance warning! But they did say they were sorry.

National is so easy to use. Rarely have to stand in line and the cars are what they say they are or better. I don't rent cars too often but when I do I really don't rent from anyone else!

As an Emerald Club member you get bypass the counter, walk out to select the car of your choice, show your license upon exiting the airport. Easy, efficient, no hassle and fast. Same upon returning to the airport. Drop the car and the final invoice is emailed to you. The car selection is great and are always clean and in great operating condition.

This is the station where your perks being executive member don‘t count.- same queue as non member- no executive aisle, no upgrade whatsoever- i felt being treated unfair. The staff next to mine asked every customer which car did they want. The one I had just handed the key without asking.I‘d take Avis next time guys.

The rental car was good, the counter rep was very professional, the customer service rep was professional when I had to call to get my receipt corrected because I didn't receive the receipt in a timely manner. The vehicle was returned at 0400 hours and the vehicle was not checked in until 1700 hours, so an extra day was charged. Very inconvenient!
