“I am so happy I found MacRae Park Animal Hospital! After going to several vets in the DSM area, I was recommended here by my dog groomer. My senior dog was going through some health struggles, and other vets weren't informing me or coming up with solutions. Dr. Jaden immediately explained everything to me and came up with a completely different strategy that absolutely helped my dog. When it was my dogs time, the entire office was so kind and helpful, and again Dr. Jaden explained the entire process to me. Now, I bring my puppy here and have seen both Dr. Jaden and Dr. Chris and the level of care is the of highest standard. The ladies up front, the techs, and doctors are all amazing. I will never take my pets anywhere else!”

We don't feel like just a number, but feel like they know us and, more importantly, they know our pets. I had him as my vet for many many years til bout 4 - 5 yrs.ago I think.A lot of ppl.says they can't stand starch hospital , welp I have actually argued with a few of them ppl.I have nothing bad to say about the staff at neither clinic.I'm gonna start going back to dr.henning again soon.God Bless”

“This place is AMAZING ! I honestly can not say enough good things about it . We arrived with our sweet lil Buddy in distress and they immediately began to administer care . Buddy now 15 yrs old has been with us from his very 1st day into this world and LOVED more than life .Unfortunately upon assessment and with detailed consideration we determined how to proceed with medical care . With broken hearts we said our goodbyes to Buddy that day . The staff at this facility were so compassionate and understanding with us every step of the way. At a time like this it made all the difference in the world to have the emotional support we received from them while also being provided with the best professional care for our beloved Buddy! Before arriving at this facility we had went to our regular vet where we had went for Buddys care over the years but much to our surprise were turned away because they would be closing soon. (1 hour and 20 mins) Needless to say I will NEVER return to Afford A Care on SE 14th . If you love your pet like we loved Buddy I strongly recommend VCA AVONDALE VETERINARY HOSPITAL for all your pets care . When our visit was complete and we were exiting the building there it was still 10 minutes before the other facility’s closing time . I am forever grateful that facility turned us away that day and we ended up at VCA …they turned a very heartbreaking situation into a memory we can still look back at with love and peace knowing Buddy received the care he deserved up until his very last moment here with us. In our hearts forever Buddy brought so much love and joy !”

“What a great veterinary clinic! The location is sort of hidden but great. It has a less clinical feel since it's outside of the main vet's home which makes you feel more comfortable. My dog has been here for at least a year and it's been great! The staff and vet are kind and knowledgeable. Prices are super reasonable and they put the animals first. Highly recommend!”

We had two cats pass away within 2 weeks. They were 16 & 17. The Vet provides a calming atmosphere that helped us during an emotional time.
