“I am 55 years old and have bought a lot of cars over the years. I have to say that my visit yesterday at Finnin Kia was one of the most enjoyable, stress-free, and quick experiences I have ever had. I was interested in a Mazda Miata convertible and was concerned about rust as the last one I purchased from a dealership was very rusty. I asked my salesperson, Jackson Hiland, if he would be willing to move the car to a spot on the asphalt parking lot so I could look underneath. Instead, Jackson offered to put the car on a hoist so I could see everything underneath the car. Who does that? Wow! After looking underneath the car and a quick test drive, I purchased the car. Blake Oyen was the business manager who handled the paperwork and I was in and out of his office in less than 10 minutes. Blake and Jackson were both so nice and professional! It was so easy and I got a tremendous deal on a super low mileage Miata in phenomenal condition. As you can tell, I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to take to dog out on a cruise in my new Miata. Thanks Finnin Kia!”

“What a great experience I had with these folks. The salesman Lucas answered my phone call with enthusiasm and quickly sent me a thoughtful video walk around of the car where he displayed his deep knowledge of the vehicle and BMW brand! Blake in finance was also very responsive and was VERY easy to work with. Even the gals who delivered the car were great and super friendly! I wouldn’t hesitate to do business again and my car was exactly what I expected! Thanks Team Dubuque BMW!”

“On an overnight trip, 4 hours from home, we started experiencing some scary brake issues. It was about 20 minutes to closing time when we pulled up to Auto Dynamics. Gary came outside and took a look. Brake line rusted out and we're supposed to return home the next day! He explained everything clearly, best/worst case scenarios, and while the shop was booked out and they wouldnt be able to fix it by the following day, he recommended another place he thought might be able to help us. Gary topped us off with brake fluid and also recommended some attractions near our hotel we could visit without needing a car. 😀 Total dad vibes. Thank you for your kindness, Gary!”

“Went to J’s on a referral from another tech. I thought they only worked on hot rod trucks. Took my car there for an exhaust leak. I had an appointment and they got me in on time. Had my car fixed very fast and didn’t suggest unnecessary repairs and services. Charged me a reasonable fee for the service and were very friendly. Will definitely go back for additional service.”

“I want to start off by saying that my prior experiences with car dealerships were always such a hassle. The back-and-forth negotiating and haggling over every single number, just to feel like they were trying to get an extra buck out of you, was always stressful. That all changed when I worked with Riley Subaru. I originally went in looking for a used vehicle, but ended up leaving in a brand-new one! Throughout the entire process, there was no pressure, no unnecessary upselling, and none of the anxiety that usually comes with wondering if you're getting taken advantage of. The process was quick, easy, and honestly one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve had. Everyone was straightforward and made me feel comfortable with my decision. I truly appreciated the no-pressure approach and transparency. If you're looking for a dealership that makes the car-buying process feel simple instead of stressful, I highly recommend Riley Subaru!”

“As a Tow Truck Driver, I get to visit Top Shelf a lot. In a town where everybody and their brother thinks they're a mechanic, Top Shelf stands tall above so many others in professionalism and customer service. It's rare to find a place where the owners stand by their work, and they have amassed quite a following because of it. I've never heard anyone complain about Top Shelf, only satisfied loyal customers. This place is great! Highly recommend.”

“We recently needed to get our truck inspected in Dubuque. It was making some noise and our Internet research told us the cause might be a safety hazard. We are not from Dubuque and we’re on a road trip. As such, we were at the mercy of those we hired. John at Merfeld took care of us: gave it to us straight and was more than fair in terms of pricing and recommendation. If we lived in Dubuque, this would clearly be our mechanic for life.”

“The Tandem staff got our vehicle in right away and had the car back and road-ready that same day. Stellar service. We had a situation where my son called me at 5:26 in the morning to say his wheel fell off his car out by the DBQ airport. Huh? Yep. It just fell off and sheared off the bolts that were hold it on. After spending about 90 minutes helping him for the wheel in the dark, we called a tow truck to have his vehicle towed to Tandem. I chose to have it towed to Tandem because I thought they would be quick about getting the vehicle put back together and they were. The wheel was not salvageable so they had to find a new matching one and they did so quickly - probably not an easy feat for a 2003 Jeep Liberty. My son needed the car to drive to Davenport for work and Tandem got him back on the road as quickly as possible.”
