“I have to admit I was a little baffled by my weed wacker line feeding mechanism. However, Kolby knew all about it. Even though he could have sold me a complete replacement cartridge, he showed me how to load it and keep the same cartridge, saving me 40 bucks and more importantly teaching me how to do it. What a great kid!”
“I just purchased 2 major appliances at Lowes. I appreciate the excellent knowledge the employees in the department have. I spoke with 2 on 2 different days to make the shopping decision. Both were very helpful. I was disappointed that I was unable to get the model desired because they were out of stock and delivery was predicted to be at least 6 months out. Still I'm happy with what I was able to get--a higher model. I really appreciate two things available at Lowes. 1. The My Lowes card (a key ring card) keeps track of purchases making returns easy if you've lost your receipt. 2. Veterans get a 10% discount on purchases, though sale items, like my 2 appliances which were on sale, may not qualify because they are at "the lowest sale price" available. Recommend.”

“I like this store. I’ve gotten a bunch of decent tools for a decent price. If I hadn’t gone down the Milwaukee Tool addiction rabbit hole, I’d have probably saved a ton of money getting the Bauer or Hercules brand power tools. This review is to show my appreciation for the manager Steve. I ordered an item that I really wanted that was on sale but wasn’t physically on hand. A month later, harbor freight corporate canceled my order without my consent, all the while holding my funds (I still haven’t received my money back a week and a half after my order was cancelled). I called customer service to have them reinstate my order and they were much less than helpful and told me I’m out of luck. I went into the Dubuque physical location and talked to Steve about it. He sold me the item I had ordered, loaded it in my car, and also gave me a discount off my order because of my hassles. Thanks Steve! That’s customer service!”

“Had the pleasure of working with Sarah today. Not only did she fill my tanks efficiency but with a smile. They do have a new policy to arrive by 3:30 to fill, so be aware. There was a disgruntled customer behind me who wasn't allowed to leave his semen straws in the tank, which makes sense. So get a second tank if that's what you're after! Will be back!”
