“Wonderful hotel stay for quick overnight stay for a wedding. Love the room with tall ceilings and comfortable beds. Clean and quiet. No free breakfast but free coffee was good and was free. Love the fact you can go straight to your room with the app!

Only reason didn’t get 5 stars was front desk both morning and evening never said a word to me as I passed by several times. I would recommend putting some friendly people as the first thing you see when walking in.”

“Exceeded expectations! It's no secret based on my other reviews that I'm a lifetime status holder of another brand of hotels. Well, that brand was sold out during my stay in Dubuque and our travel contact arranged for us to stay at the Best Western Plus. It exceeded my, and my group's, expectations.

The staff and service were absolutely fantastic, so thank you. The rooms, while slightly older, were refurbished and most importantly SPOTLESS. The bathrooms were definitely a little more updated with LED light mirrors.

The 7 Hills Brewpub is connected to hit through the convention center walkway and provides a quick way to get a bite to eat and drink.

Lastly, for my fellow millennials, this place has some serious nostalgia-inducing vibes with the indoor courtyard and pool. This does make your room a little noisy, especially at night and during breakfast service, so bring a fan or white noise machine if you're a light sleeper.

It's not a hotel I'd go with my wife for our anniversary or a birthday, but it excels at what it was designed for: an affordable option for business travelers and families on-the-road needing to let their kids blow off some steam.”

“We stayed here for the field of dreams baseball tournament with a group of baseball families during memorial weekend. It's only about a 30min drive to Dyersville. The pool area was clean but very loud when lots of children were swimming, they did have a small patio outside but it was a bit chilly at nights so we didn't use it. The rooms are clean although the bathrooms were slightly outdated with some minor issues in the ceiling and rust with some of the hardware in the bath tub. They only come clean every other day but the day they did clean some of our beds weren't made and they didn't replace the outside tub foot towel that was on the floor which i thought was odd. The first night we stayed, breakfast was great; however the next two days they were very under prepared for the amount of people that stayed here. The food was pretty much gone when we woke up and we had to wait quite awhile before it was replaced and was almost gone again before we could get up there. The location was pretty good, they have a few places nearby that are close enough to walk to; however the city really needs to make a crosswalk and more sidewalks over there but definitely not the hotel's fault there. It's close to a target, hyvee, chick fil'a, Chipotle, and then down the way is a wal mart, Wendy's, olive garden and a mall with Dick Sporting goods. Overall it was an good experience, would stay again as the cost wasn't too overwhelming and the location was good.”

“This is a great place to stay! Our room was newly renovated with new paint, flooring, bathroom. The entire establishment is Very clean and newly renovated. NO carpet is a great thing...I know the room is clean and I did not have yo walk on nasty carpet. All necessities in room. Owner is waiting on new furniture delivery but what was in the room was sufficient. Very very friendly and accommodating staff. Pool was so relaxing and clean. Just a great atmosphere and staff all around. I wish them much luck and will be back.”

“The location is perfect. I’ll definitely walk to Aldi‘s get my groceries. The room feels like home. The staff is very friendly. The room is really clean. The AC is really cold as you guys know just a couple days before 4 July so it’s super Duper hot right now so AC is important. It’s like home away from home.”

“I had to ask for my room to be clean. It had been 5 days here. I use my do not disturb sight for the first 3rd day. I took off on the 4th day. Then I had to ask the morning of the 5th day to have my room serviced. The breakfast was ok. The only hot food was waffles. There was cereal, yogurt and breads. The computer and printer do not work. The front desk said that they could only print off 5 pages for the customers. I called The front desk and was told only the manager can print paper and she did not get in until about 2pm. I do not know what the Wyndham Rewards is doing. The do not know what level I am in at any of the hotels I stay at. I have to show them on my app. The manager at this hotel is amazing. She is doing the best she can with the restrictions the owners have put on her. The rooms have stains on the carpet, bathroom need shower heads cleaned better. The ceiling need to be fixed better.”
