“Landed in town cause I came to see field of dreams. So ended up staying the night. Needed some quick for dinner. Went to Casey's someone said they had chicken but for some reason the whole place was closed & locked up. So want to fareway instead.It really worked out they had roasted chickens plus a deli that had all different kinds of salads. Had everything I needed.”

“The butchers are incredibly helpful at the meat counter. I wanted a cooler full of meat cut for me. They took my CUSTOM ORDER and said that they could freeze the meat in my cooler so that I could travel back to South Texas with the meat. There is NOTHING better than Iowa Beef!!! Amazing customer service.”
“Yes these hard workers do a fine job organizing, cleaning, putting out specials. I use a walker like a wheelchair and 3 times now ive had a different worker each time, go out and help carry out my bags. So. Over all these ladies work hard and just ask them at the register, hows ur day. They will talk to u, answer u. They ladies work so hard having to take care of the store and attend to customers. I do enjoy shopping there. My shopping experience was fabulous. The variety is amazing along with their dollar section. P.s. the plumbing and the carpet cleaner in the dollar section reall does work.”

“Nice little gas station in town tons of hot food options and standard gas station stuff. Big beer cooler and they have a freal machine as well! Lots of great stuff! Staff are always friendly and helpful always have parking and very decent gas prices compared to others!”
“Dollar General has been improving slowly but steadily throughout the last few years. If I had to give feedback to the company I'd say take a genuine look at how cheaply made some of your "higher end items" are, because you don't want to become known for that. I've been very satisfied with the Anamosa and Monticello stores.”

“Great if you know how to shop for cheap correctly. Plenty of variety but you have to know what products are safe to use after expiration date. Most items are totally safe, some are iffy, and some are going to be awful.”
