“This was one of the best services I have ever received in a body shop. I showed up half an hour early because my prior appointment was a lot shorter than I expected and I was filling willing to just wait until the appointment time but they ended up getting me out before my appointment time even came around. The gentleman behind the counter(I believe his name was Pete and he may have been the owner) was so kind and understanding about me being apprehensive after an awful last couple visits to my former oil change shop. They were kind, knowledgeable, fast, and obvious took pride in their work. I will be coming back.”

“I brought my vehicle here for a 2nd opinion on a check engine light. From the shuttle service to and from the shop, the AMAZINGLY thorough inspection, communication from Evan the service advisor, and timely repairs, I cannot recommend this place enough.
You could always find a back alley place for cheaper, but with the service this place provides, the warranty on work, the timeliness, there's only 1 place I'll be bringing my vehicles and it's Honest Wrenches.

“Miguel and his son Mikey are the most honest mechanics I have ever come across. I moved to Des Moines and had car issues a few months after, so I had to find a mechanic. Car was diagnosed, Was decided car needed new engine. Pam sent me updated progress notes and advised what was being done. Went to pick up the car, Pam advised us on some future work that should be done and released the car. Car drives 100% better than it did when we purchased it. Very happy and extremely satisfied. Would not hesitate going to Scott’s for future needs.”
“Happy customer here. For a reasonable charge, I had my wheels deep cleaned while they were off the car. The old weight adhesive was removed and the barrels were cleaned. I am not aware of any other tire shops in the metro offering that level of precision to enthusiast customers.”
“I started coming here nearly 10 years ago when I moved in across the street. At first, I was hesitant to take my car to a corporate chain, but I quickly discovered that they were anything but conventional. Over the years, I've owned several cars, and I refuse to take them anywhere else for service. The location is convenient, it’s easy to schedule appointments, and the prices are always reasonable. I won’t go anywhere else!”
“I bought a used Chevy Traverse 2016 with 100k on it. After about 6 months the car was accelerating sluggishly and I noticed a shudder at various times during acceleration and when maintaining highway speeds. There were no codes indicating a problem.
My normal mechanic replaced the transmission fluid and thought that might help. It didn't help and things got worse including a couple hard shifts if I wasn't gentle with it. My mechanic quoted me $5800 (ouch!) for a new transmission and torque converter however they recommended I take it to Chuck and Larry's since they are specialists.
It was the best recommendation they could have given. Chuck and Larry's staff were incredibly knowledgeable. They spent several hours diagnosing the problem (having the transmission fluid changed by my mechanic didn't help). They determined that likely all I needed was a new torque converter. They also mentioned that while they had the car apart they could fix an oil leak that was giving me problems.
All said and done it was a couple days and $2700 for the torque converter and oil leak fix. It's been 2 months and the car drives like a whole new vehicle. I saved $3000 and I don't have to top off the oil every week.”
“This is a great business. They genuinely care about treating people fairly and kindly. This compassion was reflected in every aspect of my experience with them—from their friendly demeanor over the phone to their unflinching honesty regarding the repairs. They are a no BS type of mechanic shop. They will not try to drain your bank account. They’re good at what they do (they replaced 16 spark plugs and 8 ignition coils in HALF the time that these other clowns around here were quoting!!!)

“My Toyota was struggling. They ran a diagnostic and showed what was needed from immediate to sometime in the next few months. Oil changes and tire rotations are great but finding a good mechanic that can find and fix problems and give you some timelines meant a lot to me. The best part was how fast they worked. My car would have been out for a week at some of the other garages but these guys knocked it out within 24 hours - a huge relief with my chaotic schedule. The Willard’s are the best. I won’t go anywhere else.”

“I took my 2019 Chevy Colorado to a dealer and he told me I needed a new $8,000 transmission. You only had 82,000 mi on it. It had the transmission shudder like they all do. A friend told me about knudson transmission. They explained the problem with all the eight speed Chevy transmissions and he fixed it for less than 700 bucks. So far it's running better than it ever has. I can't say enough good words for Knudson transmission.”

“Outstanding service! Needed a tow to an auto repair shop. While the wait was longer than I would have liked, once Tim arrived it was so fast and easy. His tow truck had accessories that could fully lift an all wheel drive suv, with out being a flatbed truck. Less than 15 minutes to hook up car, 10 minute drive to repair shop and 10 minutes off the truck. Quick and painless. My roadside assistance chose Tim’s Amoco for the service but I will use them again if I ever need towed again. A+”
