About River View Inn
River View Inn is an old grainmill from 1858 that has been restored into a 5 or 6 room motel with a coffee shop downstairs. The coffee shop offers a morning selection of goody goodies and coffee for people that love Starbucks. Rooms are very clean, cozy, and roomy, with comfortable beds and a patio on the river. Pets are allowed and the check‑in process is easy and check yourself in. The back deck offers an outstanding view of the Mississippi River, and the location is near Little Old Town in Irving, Iowa, with several restaurants and taverns for food and fun. Guests enjoy the old grain mill hoppers and pulleys, the barge watching on the river, and the cool, funky atmosphere of the converted warehouse.

Rooms very clean! Pets allowed that’s a plus in my book! Love the easy check yourself in! Very cozy and roomy. Rooms come fully stacked with everything you need and more! Most definitely will return!

The location of this Inn is fantastic. The view from the back deck is outstanding. The check in process is simple, and the rooms we have stayed in are fine.
