“I went to Fitness Sports for new walking/ jogging shoes. Andy was very kind and super knowledgeable able how the shoes should fit me and whether or not my foot would roll in certain places and different types of shoes or not. He took the time to listen to what types of walking and jogging I do specifically to find me just the right shoes. I’m very impressed with this store and the staff. I highly recommend. Oh, I also needed wide everything and they even carry wide women’s socks. I will be getting more I’m sure. They are so comfortable. Thank you so much for your help. “I bought a pair of slippers from you a few years ago and then forgot about your store. Yesterday, I called and spoke to a nice man. He was able to help me with sneakers I needed. I've got what is called a Tailor's bunion on my left foot. It's very painful when shoes rub on it. Having wide feet makes it much worse. I like to go to the gym about five times a week. The elliptical multiplies that throbbing pain. Today, I was able to make it into the store. Ellie was so helpful and knowledgeable! I explained my issues, and she helped me find exactly what I needed! The Hoka shoes feel so wonderful on my feet. They're expensive, but you get what you pay for, as they say. Yes, the bunion still rubs, but it's very minimal. I also have flat feet and plantar fasciitis on my left foot, too. I've been dealing with the lower right muscles in my back, pinching constantly. Ellie suggested the arches pictured in the photograph. I don't know the brand , but they are miraculous. They were $50 and worth every bit of it! The minute I stood up with them in my new shoes, that pain was gone, and I could feel my hips were even. She also discovered that I didn't need an 8 1/2 size. I'd been doing that to compensate for my wide feet. I left wearing a size smaller. I went to Walmart after that and walked around at least thirty minutes. The Hokas didn't hurt my feet at all. By the time I got home, I'd been wearing them about six hours. I was just starting to feel a little pain from the bunion. I'm so thrilled to have a local store where I can get special shoes for my wide feet. Ordering online is a gamble, and I've lost good money from it. I won't forget about you again. Ellie is an employee I hope you value because she is a great asset to your business. Well done!”

Last month, Foot Locker Inc. reopened its flagship store at 112 W 34th St. in New York City, as part of new retail plans. The store introduced "Home Court," a basketball-focused shopping area created with Nike and Jordan Brand. The updated store offers a basketball-themed shopping experience. It combines customer service with the newest products for use on and off the court from several brands.
