“For someone who is use to a larger hyvee, this one is great. Yes the meat is per-package but they do take in to count a smaller household. The vegetables, you get a great basic selection and excellent quality with a few non basic vegetables. Lastly the service is a lot more personal then a large hyvee.”

“Very clean location unlike most other locations I've been to. Shelves neatly stocked unlike most other locations, easy to find items I needed for 1st time being there unlike other stores that I had to visit. Most other locations are dirty, unorganized, and and no employees like to help without an attitude.”
“Dont forget these little stores! They are just as convenient as the big box stores! Have a little bit of everything. Yes they can be cluttered and packed with boxes but easier than dealing with bigger grocery stores!”
“One time I got bacon from the meat counter here. I asked the young man "how many strips of bacon is in half a pound?" He said "I don't know let's find out together." He grabbed a hunk-o-bacon and put it on the scale. Then he said "Aw, wow, there's hella bacon up in that half pound." Now every time my husband and I plan to buy bacon, we say that we need "hella bacon"All thanks to mystery man at Hy-Vee meat counter. Other than the bacon shenanigans at the meat counter, I also think it's very nice that the ladies at the registers don't judge me when I go in every single morning for one blueberry muffin and a single can of energy drink... when a normal person would just buy a package of muffins and a 6 pack of beverages so they don't have to go to the grocery store daily... we've all got our weird idiosyncrasies and I'm glad to not be judged by the helpful smiles at Hy-Vee Oskaloosa for mine.”

“One of the most amazing places to shop. The staff was amazing and caring. I met Jack and we got to talk a bit what an amazing individual he is a keeper for sure. The whole staff was kind and caring and generous with their positivity. The atmosphere was positive thank you all for being kind.
