“Aldi's is great for price and general selection. We buy veggies and some meats there. No free bags, so we bring our own. Shopping cart takes a quarter (25 cent piece) in the handle to use, removable when the cart is returned to the rack. They also have weekly object specials; we got some great kitchen scales years ago that we still use.”

“Haa one of Ottumwas older quick shops is still here! They still claim home of the lottery winners. They do sell lots of tickets! Ok prices as far as package stores.. Small selection of canned goods, Milk, beer, soda are the better sellers... And then for those who like hard liquor they have a real good selection and good prices as well. They will special order items if you do not find the brands you like. They do have pizza, and other items as hot. And have some sandwiches in the cold case. Chips, candy bars.. yup those too! Handy place when winter weather has you snowed in. Close to John Deere..”
“Nice n clean fountain pop area. Bacon cheeseburger was delicious, just needed to be cooked a little longer(too pink/raw).. definitely not worth the $8 price they charge. And seriously $4 for a tiny 1/2 pint cup of watermelon and pineapple chunks. Lower your prices Biden is gone!!”

“The guy who came out to our place was very nice and very professional. We had a leak due to some guy accidentally hitting the regulator and causing it to crack. Our tank was also empty so they replaced the regulator for us and refilled our propane. Thanks to them.”

“This is an excellent grocery store. It's like stepping back in time when you walk in- in the sense that management obviously takes pride in presentation and customer service excellence. Employees are all dressed alike, making them easy to pick out. They are very friendly, they greet you with a smile, and are helpful. The place is very well-stocked, has a wide variety of items, is clean & organized. The meat/deli counter is great too. The store has fresh bakery items but not a bakery counter. I love that they have several staffed checkout counters running all the time with grocery baggers. I love stopping in for my groceries.”
