Pet Care
Eastview Animal Hospital
11596 Bladensburg Road, OttumwaI've been very happy with the excellent care for all my cats. All the doctors are very knowledgeable, and I have trust in their judgement and recommendations.
I've used four other veterinary practices over the last 30 years, and this, by far, is the best. It's also clean, professionally run, and compassionate. It's worth the 30 minute drive to come here.
I also appreciate that this is an independently owned practice and not part of a larger, corporate affair, too. Very happy to have found Eastview Animal Hospital.

Thomas Veterinary Clinic
17591 US-34, OttumwaCalled and they were able to have my animal in the next morning. Didn't try charging a deposit just to make an appointment. The vet also was very real about what the animal needed instead of trying to upsell unnecessary products or services. They were very good with the animal and got things done efficiently.

Tallman Jan R DVM
11596 Bladensburg Road, OttumwaOver the past 6+ years Eastview Animal Clinic and all of the vets and vet techs there, have taken care of 4 different cats for me, with problems ranging from chronic rhinitis, teeth extractions, and general wellness visits, as well as - sadly - putting to sleep a feral Alex & I had taken in last winter when it was so cold, who was in a bad way. I can’t say enough good things about this practice. The building, offices and grounds are neat, clean and smell good; the vet techs are friendly, empathetic and competent; the vets are all great - very kind, compassionate, and - importantly - truthful and direct. I’ve had animals of all sorts over my long life and consequently have a LOT of experience with vets. This past few years has been the best veterinary experience in my life. Thank you, Eastview!
