She is probably the most anxious dog I have ever personally had contact with. I was afraid of how it would go when I took her to the groomer, but it went BEAUTIFULLY! Angie was so incredibly patient and kind and calm and immediately put Cookie at ease, it was super neat to watch. Not only that, but she does a fantastic job-Cookie looked great!
Now, if only it went that well at the vet!!

They worked us in right away, didn’t even charge an emergency fee, and took our concerns very seriously. The vet and staff were thorough, compassionate, and determined to get to the bottom of what was wrong. They diagnosed bladder stones and quickly referred us on for the emergency care he needed. I am so grateful for their kindness and quick action.

Full Bloom Brewhouse has been on my list of places to check out for a while since Pleasant Grove Homestead has shared about their collaborations over the last year or so. They have everything you’d want on summer afternoon - cold drinks, good food, lots of books and games in the loft areas, and a decent amount of seating inside and out.
We tried a couple of franks but the real showstoppers were slushie margs and the nachos!! Service was welcoming and informative about the good, locally sourced foods and future plans for events and accommodating other dietary choices. Big thanks to Victoria and Julie for the incredible hospitality for a couple of sweaty bikers 😊 we’re planning to be regulars!
