“Shopping is a pleasure, place is clean and organized nicely. Prices are very reasonable and family friendly. The fruit and vegetables are fresh and delicious. They have great pizza's, berries and grapes. They have great cherries as well.”

“This grocery store is a great option if you’re looking for good value and quick trips. Carts are always available (as long as you have a quarter), which is convenient, though I do wish they had baskets for when I’m only grabbing a few items.
I can usually get in and out pretty quickly, which I appreciate. Prices are solid, and overall it’s a good place to save money. That said, checkout lines can get a little long at times. They do offer self-checkout, but I personally prefer face-to-face service—and that can take a bit longer since staff are often busy stocking.
Overall, it’s a reliable store with great prices, just expect a little bit of a wait at checkout now and then.”

“You can find uncommon breads at Fareway, e.g. foccacia loaves. Best part, they are baked every day. Baking is their daily accomplishment enjoyed by customers. Try making grilled mozzarella cheese sandwiches with foccacia bread. Yum! Can't find specialty bread, ask if you can put in an order.”

“While the Iowa side of the river doesn’t always get the best selection of whiskey (compared to the IL side), this Wine & Spirits does a good job of maintaining a respectable selection of whiskey. And if you’re looking for unique tequilas, you should definitely stop in. Brad and his team here are always friendly, helpful, and kind - so it’s definitely worth stopping in!”

“Food is great! Convenient little store for items you may need like milk, eggs, beverages, beer etc. They sell homemade food items.No longer selling gas here but still has bait for the fisherman as well as lotto tickets. Come down and sit with the locals and chat!”

However the wannabe cowboy in a Jeep (IL 27626) brought down the vibes with his attitude when I was just trying to get gas.”
“This particular Dollar General always has someone at the register, always knows where to find things, always has boxes put away so you dont trip on them, and most of all always seems to have a very friendly staff. I would say this store is very well run. There is another Dollar General literally next door to the office where I work and I will always wait until I am close to home and patronize the Port Byron store.”
“Great little convenient store in downtown LeClaire. They have everything from regular convenient storw stuff to wine, beer, and touristy knick knacks...oh they even have an A&W. Right in front of the American Pickers shop and next to police station. Customer service is always good there too.”

“My husband and I had a very negative experience with one of the butchers at the HyVee on Devils Glen in Bettendorf on July 2, 2023, so I had posted a negative review of their butcher counter on Yelp. Management from that HyVee store reached out to us the very next morning and apologized for what had happened. They did make things right with us and so I am changing my negative review to a very positive one. This HyVee location clearly does care about the quality of service they provide to their customers. I highly recommend this HyVee location.”
“Hate that Walmart is primarily using the self-checkouts I'm not employed by Walmart and I don't support using them. Those are keeping people from a job shame on you. I heard that they are trying to go totally online shopping, another mistake Walmart, people like going in the store and looking at all that is there. If you go in that direction I'll shop somewhere else.”
