“I've used Sheehan for years to rebuild alternators and starters. They are the best you will find. I put two Napa reman alternators on my VW Jetta and both failed within 24K miles. I had kept the factory unit and had Sheehan rebuild it for me. They use quality bearings and electronics. I first spoke with John and he listened carefully to the specifications I would need. He made some excellent suggestions and estimated the price - which was reasonable. A short time later, he called to say it was done. Upon receiving the part, I was impressed with the design, strength and detail of the fabrication.
