“If you want to step back in time and have a nice lunch with sweet and kind people....oh and pick up a few hidden gems you never knew you needed Spring Store is the place! Its listed as a general store BUT its also a restaurant. They have specials each day and you can pick 2 sides with a drink! Phyllis is the 92 year old woman serving your food! She is as sharp as a tack and still working its amazing! These people are my cousins and I come once a year from Mexico to visit our farm and this stop is always the highlight of my trip! I never appreciated small or TINY town Iowa. Now I gotta say this is one of my favorite things to do is have lunch at the Sharpsburg Spring store! Linda is the cook and runs the post office so dont come later than 12:30! She has to run the post office at 1pm and she os your cook! Best to arrive by 12 and sit and enjoy the small town experience of eating at a general store / restaurant in Iowa!”

“A very nice Casey’s store, the staff are friendly and the store is always clean. Even the customers are nice. The pumps are up and working every time I visit, it only takes one swipe and it’s ready. The staff keep the receipt paper at the pumps stocked, which is so helpful. The outside area around the pumps are always clean, no trash on the ground. One of the best Casey’s I’ve visited. Great job staff.”
