Contacted my local Firestone business immediately via website for an appointment after I developed a leak in one of my tires knowing I needed an immediate repair. Blake showed me the sidewall damage and gave me an estimate to replace the tire. Knowing we have 51,000 miles on original tires we opted to take advantage of a sale and purchased four new tires. We’re very happy with Blake’s customer service and the Firestone brand tires we purchased. I would recommend this Firestone location and their team for all types of automotive repairs and replacement of tires.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Blake and his mechanics at the Urbandale location. We were on the way to Des Moines with high school students for a speech tournament when our alternator went bad in our school van. I called on the way, explained our situation, & Blake immediately assured us that once we arrived at the shop, he’d get the car fixed quickly. We were on the phone for at least 30 minutes while he gathered all the information and worked on an estimate for us. Once the estimate was complete, he said, “Becca, since you’re still over an hour away and the alternator is bad, know that you’re putting a lot of stress on the part. Your van might quit before you get to me. If it does, call me and we will get you here safely.”
Thankfully, we made it without a tow! When we arrived, Blake was ready. The ticket already said in progress, the required parts were pulled & his team started working on our van within five minutes of our arrival, plus the work was done in just under an hour and a half.
My assistant coach and I are convinced that Blake isn’t just a man, but an angel. Excellent, professional, compassionate, and caring service. Thank you for swiftly helping two stranded educators & their students!

I have been a loyal customer of Firestone for the past year, during which I have spent approximately $2000 on various repairs based on their recommendations. However, my recent experience has been utterly disappointing and frustrating.
I brought my car in for a diagnosis recently, and the team informed me that certain repairs were needed, costing a significant amount. Since these issues were not urgent, I decided not to proceed with the repairs and requested to get my car back the same day. But I was told I could pick it up the next day.
When I finally got my car back, I was suprised to find that it was shaking so badly that it was nearly undrivable. Additionally, the air conditioning, which was working perfectly before, had completely stopped functioning. None of these issues were present when I brought my car in.
When I questioned the staff about these new problems, I was met with rudeness and no solutions. This level of service is unacceptable, especially considering my history as a loyal customer.
This experience has shattered my trust in Firestone. I expected better service and professionalism, and I am deeply disappointed.

It's difficult for us gals to find an honest mechanic. But here I felt I was well informed of my repair options. The guys go out of their way to make you feel at home. I would recommend this mechanic shop to anyone.

Took Excellent care of us, honest,fast, Hard workers, and friendly. My husband and I drove one way a 100 miles to this location and happy we did, will definitely take the drive back for any other issue with our vehicles, Thanks agian.

This Firestone made us feel better than the one on Merle Hay Road. They took care of us, got our car in as soon as they could and gave us more information that we have ever gotten anywhere else. Very friendly service and they took great care of us and our car. Will be returning!!

Busy but I was able to get an oil change done. It was a wait but we got it done. Word to the wise to the lady on her cellphone with a person yelling as we all could hear him. Her child got in trouble but I only know because she was on the phone with him as he yelled at her son. She's a shop manager I only know that because the discussion between her and the guy who took care of me were talking loud enough for me to hear. You guys do you not have an office so you can take personal calls and discuss things we don't need to hear? I suggest use it if you do. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for the free coffee on this cold day.

Giving it 2 stars only cuz the first guy I talked to was nice, but they took 2 hours to complete what should’ve been a 45 minute service, didn’t update me once that they were running late or behind, saw employees messing around with each other, when i finally saw my car was done (but not pulled out yet) I went and asked to check out, when I asked about it taking so long, I was given attitude by the girl at the counter. i’ll never come back to this firestone location and i’ll tell other people to avoid it too.
