“I had ordered an item online to pick up in store. During the time my item was available I had a death in the family. The sales associate said they would hold my item until I could make it in to pick it up which was at least three weeks later. They were so kind when I went to pick it up. I even ended up purchasing another item. The sales associates are amazing and caring!!! I would recommend shopping at Torrid!! It isn’t only for plus size women.”
“I can’t say enough great things about Jodey and her lovely boutique. We traveled from NC to Iowa for a wedding. 4 hours before the wedding, I realized the dress I had packed was ruined. The boutique was in the hotel that we were staying. I quickly ran down stairs, through her doors and said “help”! She pulled me a full outfit together. “I have been a long time customer for about five years and most all my clothes come from Marne. I have slowly phased out fast fashion and throw away clothes and exchanged them for life long, ethical, beautiful garments. I love Angela (the shop owner). At this point she knows me. I have no idea how she keeps everyone straight but she always knows what will fit and what won’t. I am 12-14 regular and I fit in her clothes! I always feel celebrated and cared for. It’s one of those store I feel comfortable coming out of the fitting room and looking in the big mirror.”

“Of the boutiques in this shopping district, Maria Vincent not only has the cutest clothes, but definitely has the most reasonable prices. Nice big shop with a great selection, comfortable dressing room area with great lighting, and the owner is very friendly. I will definitely be back.”
“As a person using a mobility device, aka a rolling walker, I struggle going into stores that have lots of little items. This store’s aisles and places to walk through were immaculate snd easy to navigate. A lot of times, I skip shopping in similar stores, because my mobility device is a hinderance, and I can’t safely shop the store. When I was there on April 4th, 2025, I was able to safely shop and look with no issues or assistance needed, which rarely happens. The people working were extremely helpful and kind. I hope this continues and spreads to other places. This store is proof that ADA compliance is possible, and fun items are for everyone!”
“I was BLOWN AWAY by the customer service here! The ladies working 8/18/23 saw I was carrying clothes to try on, politely came to me and took the clothes so I wasn’t carrying them around, and reserved me a dressing room. With perfect timing, they asked if they could grab me any other sizes. The other stores I visited before don’t even compete with how I was treated here. I will be returning simply because of how observant and attentive the ladies working are! Thank you Mainstream Boutique for making me feel so special!❤️”
