“I only come to Des Moines twice a year for work conferences, I love Soma bras and undies. I stopped in April 16, 2026 and the gals working were absolutely wonderful! I had saw a cami pj set online that was supposed to be in stock in the store, they could not find but instead found online and set me up for free delivery to my home 4 hours away. Terrific and fast service. I did not catch their names, but they deserve all the praise!”
“I’ve had the pleasure to work with both Julie Ross and Paula Reicks at K. Renee. They have helped me find pieces to complement our bedroom; redesign our entryway; find a new cocktail table, side table, and accent pieces for our family room; and more recently a whole new makeover of our living room. One thing I appreciated most about both designers was their willingness to find new pieces that complemented already-existing pieces within our home. They have helped me create a home that is warm and inviting. Whether you are building a new home, looking for a whole new look, or just want a few new pieces for your home, I highly recommend that you stop in at K. Renee’s and talk to one of the designers. “As a person using a mobility device, aka a rolling walker, I struggle going into stores that have lots of little items. This store’s aisles and places to walk through were immaculate snd easy to navigate. A lot of times, I skip shopping in similar stores, because my mobility device is a hinderance, and I can’t safely shop the store. When I was there on April 4th, 2025, I was able to safely shop and look with no issues or assistance needed, which rarely happens. The people working were extremely helpful and kind. I hope this continues and spreads to other places. This store is proof that ADA compliance is possible, and fun items are for everyone!”

“Let me just start with saying CJ has been MORE than helpful every single time we come to this location. I have never had someone so respectful, mindful, helpful & caring in retail whether it is 4 hours or 4 minutes to close.
In no way have I ever had someone go so out of their way to find different sizes for my hot topic loving 9 year old. He deserves a raise & all of the recognition in the world - if he has not yet been named employee of the year he very much should be!!

“I was BLOWN AWAY by the customer service here! The ladies working 8/18/23 saw I was carrying clothes to try on, politely came to me and took the clothes so I wasn’t carrying them around, and reserved me a dressing room. With perfect timing, they asked if they could grab me any other sizes. The other stores I visited before don’t even compete with how I was treated here. I will be returning simply because of how observant and attentive the ladies working are! Thank you Mainstream Boutique for making me feel so special!❤️”
“I had such a blast looking through the racks here and found some incredible deals on designer clothes that I usually see for way higher prices. The store was really well-organized, so even though there were a lot of items to look at, it didn't feel overwhelming to find my size in the jeans and jackets section. I ended up finding a pair of high-quality boots and a really soft sweater that I know I will wear all the time. The checkout line moved surprisingly fast for a busy Saturday, and the staff was very polite and wrapped everything up carefully. It is definitely my favorite spot to go when I want to update my wardrobe without spending a fortune.”

“Went to Chicos for the first time with my 89-year-old mom today, looking for jeans for her. The staff there could not have been more kind, patient and helpful! We found a pair that she loves, and look great on her. All the clothing is such a nice quality. We will be returning to get her some tops as well.”

While one employee told me the item was in “storage.”Jackie, the store manager, went above and beyond looking through several boxes to locate the item I was looking to purchase. She didn’t have to do that on a busy Friday evening, but she did! It’s the little things that matter. She was very personable and has the customer- first mindset. “Blown away is an understatement. As a plus size individual, it’s very hard finding a store that carries my size and has very cute and trendy pieces. My jaw was on the floor the entire time. The prices are stellar and the selection is huge. This is a video of just their plus size section. The store was exactly half plus sizes, half straight sizes. I also do not have my ears pierced, and their selection of clip ons is the biggest I’ve found! The staff was amazing and so very helpful (only one woman, and she was dedicated to helping). The store, dressing rooms, and bathrooms were all very clean. This has become my new go-to spot!”

I walked in looking for a dress I saw on the window and she showed me where to find it, offered to show me the fitting rooms, brought me different size dresses to help me find the perfect fit. Cloud helped our family, and she was fantastic from the moment we walked in. She was attentive, friendly, and quickly asked what size shoe my daughter wore. She then helped us find the right sizes for my other two kids and made the entire process easy and stress-free.
Cloud was knowledgeable and proactive, helping us pick out the right accessories, including socks and shoe protectant, to go with the shoes. She wasn’t pushy—just genuinely helpful and focused on making sure we found exactly what we needed.
