“I always love staying at this hotel. It doesn't have to be a big 5 star, fancy hotel for me. 2 floors is better than 5 because it stays quieter that way. The family that runs this hotel is SO incredibly nice! Anything I ask for, they provide. They are very kind and accomodating. It is veey clean and they have a great breakfast. Will definitely be back in the future to stay again. Thank you for your hospitality!

It's great to see a hotel live up to its reputation nowadays. This will be my go-to hotel when I'm back in the area. So nice to not have to stay in a crappy place just bc I'm traveling with a dog. “Stayed there for a night when we were in town. The property was very nice and clean. Room was very clean and comfortable. Out of all of the motels we stayed at, this place had the best breakfast by far. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was also a very secure location. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Great job! You can tell that the staff care about the place by how well it is maintained.”

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Waterloo over the weekend! From the moment we arrived the experience exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly welcoming and truly excited to make our stay great and it showed Breakfast deserves a special mention. Even though the hotel was crazy busy with a hockey team in town everything ran smoothly. The food was hot fresh and well stocked despite the rush. Jonika was especially sweet and helpful she made our mornings start on such a positive note. Joey was also working nonstop running around like crazy to keep up with demand yet still stayed upbeat and on top of everything. We really want to give a huge shout out to the amazing staff for their hard work and outstanding service. Because of them our stay was memorable and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

“Great building, quiet spacious rooms. Nice location. Needs to improve with housekeeping. Little details mean a lot, like a clean soap dish, a clean floors, and a clean shower really say a lot about the caliber of the housekeeping attention to detail.”

“Rooms need some work but they were clean. It seems they are doing some remodeling so hopefully next time we stay, I will change my rating to 5 star for the rooms. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was not bad.”

“We have been traveling across the U. S. and I must say this Comfort Inn on Waterloo has been the most comfortable and the cleanest motel we have stayed in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bed is a dream, it was so comfortable. We will be here for four nights and will be sorry to leave.”

“Yes, the hotel is dated, could use a few touch ups.
But the price is great.
Beds seem to be fairly new and very comfortable, pillows are awesome. Hot tub is a bit small in room 415.
Kelly at the front dest is the best.
Lobby coffee is not to bad.
Breakfast kinda sucks.”

“This place deserves 5 stars. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff here is so helpful and friendly and understanding. My favorite lady is Christine she is so awesome. She helps me every time with doing my reservation everyday that I need to renew my room. She is so kind, caring and is always willing to help. She also goes above and beyond if needed. She treats her customers as family and always has a smile on her face that helps me feel welcomed in. The hotel is very clean and they always stick to leaving the light on for you. The area is safe. You have plenty of places nearby for food, gas and more. Great place to rest for the night when traveling. I also love how they are pet friendly and always help even if a pet makes a accident to provide you with the stuff needed to clean it. I love this hotel and the friendly staff. They also have a laundry area too. I also feel comfortable with the gentle man with glasses because he is very polite and takes his time to understand to help properly. He also doesn't mind repairing things as needed if anything goes wrong. Also the guy on third shift is very helpful too and kind. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.”

“Ok its a motel 6 so its not a 5 star hotel, so if you want a 5 star hotel dont go there. If you want a clean, nice place and a great price this is your stop! This place is not your typical motel 6 ..1st off its a hotel, not a motel. My room was big, well lit, soft comfy bed. Medium size tv with lots of channels and a mini fridge. (No microwave, no coffee maker) i had my dog with me -$20 deposit, refunded at checkout for good (quick) room inspection.
The staff here was great! I had alot of bags plus my dog's crate. The man at the desk got a rolling cart, helped me load my bags & crate and wheeled it to my room for me -and as i reached to grab a couple bucks to tip him for his help he was gone -my point here is that he was genuinely helpful, not expecting any money.

As far as motel 6's go this is a 5 star location.”
