“This is a great small-town style hardware store. The operators have a sensible way of managing old stock. It is still there for sale. So, if you need something that others haven't carried for years, it might be here, and the price might have been lowered.”

“This is a fantastic Farm Store. They have a great selection. The prices are more than the big box stores, but they have great convenience that can make up for that.”

“Randy in the door section was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient as we bounced between different ideas! Quality and price are both important but customer service is what will bring us back!”

“We just visited the Woodsmith store and was helped by Rick in the staining area. He was a wealth of knowledge and spent a lot of time with us talking about different stains, pros/cons, and what would work best for our project. Amazing customer service, beyond impressed!”

“I've been spending money here for almost 15 years. I've seen the staff go above and beyond to help. I've bought pipe and conduit and had it cut so it would fit in my car. I've had help locating items. They keep candy bars in the cold pop fridge in the summer. I've always been well greeted and well taken care of here. Their cat is polite to customers. It is nice to have a hardware store in town and I'm looking forward to another 15 years of doing business with them. I'll be 80 by then. They carry some fishing tackle, plumbing parts, yard trash bags, nuts, bolts, screws, nails, rope, chain, caulk, yard tools, hand tools, sand, salt, paint, muck boots, wire, outlets and lots of other stuff.Their prices and hours are very reasonable. To you people that gave 1 and 2 star reviews, I don't know if we have been in the same store.”

“I can usually find what I need, and the staff is always helpful and willing to admit they just don't understand what I'm trying to do (I have really weird ideas sometimes).”

“Was in recently to get some exterior lighting updates for my house and was assisted by Carla who was incredibly helpful and involved with my project. She asked the right questions and helped me make a selection that I am very satisfied with. Appreciate the personal attention and help.”

“2-25-25 visit time 9:00 a.m. Abbie was a great help. Very friendly easy to talk to and seemed to enjoy her job. She knew where everything I needed was and took the extra few mins from what she was doing to help find what I needed. The lady at the self checkout on the other hand needs to take lessons on how to treat customers. She was rude and not very helpful. I needed approval for something I bought and I pointed it out to her and she said " It didn't say that" when clearly at the bottom of the item on the screen it was red with an exclamation point and said approval needed.”

“One of the employees, maybe the owner helped me find the parts and tools I needed so fast that I was able to make it into the office even earlier than I do on a normal day.I really appreciated that I can buy single washers for 10 to 15 cents a piece rather than spending $5 or $6 on a bag at a big box hardware store and getting way more than I need that I'll probably never be able to find again if I would actually need them again.”

“Bought a Suncast storage #1932692 yesterday online , to pick up later. Stopped by on the way home and the bar code scanner didn't work but pressed the button and they put me right through. The guy that helped me couldn't have been more helpful and the process could not have gone smoother. He should be training others on how these things are done and how to treat customers !”

“Truck gate is on the west side of the building. Once you pull up there they will direct you on which way to go. I had a dock on the right as you come in. That dock is a sunken dock with walls on each side but there is plenty of room to line up and back in. It's a store so they have facilities you can use. Also, you take a break on the side and go in to explorer the vast swath of what they have to sell.”

“The store is as expected of a hardware store. Lots of stuff.

I was trying to color match paint, which they're supposedly able to do. The person running the paint counter, however, was very insistent that any paint we got wouldn't match, so he was unable to help me.”
