“I don't agree with Stephanie P. The post office is doing the best they can with staff and assisting customers. The heat was out that day ~ these things happen. Also, the renewing of and getting new Passports is new at this location so there is probably a learning curve here. I go to this post office everyday and I wouldn't go anywhere else. “Post Office lobby is open 24/7 so you're able to pick up your PO Box items anytime. Desk is closed for lunch, mail is supposed to be available in boxes by 1pm ~ however that isn't always the case, it is sometimes late, desk closes for day @ 4pm M-F.”
“If you need a reason to move to Adel, Matt from this Post Office should be top of your list! Great customer service, cares about his job, customers, and town. Not to mention we have never had a mail / package issue. Move to Adel and meet Matt!”
“Too everyone complaining about their delivery of mail. As someone who has a direct relative that works for USPS, it is NOT the carrier's fault for the way the system is set up. The USPS is an antiquated system and needs a major overhaul. The carriers are great, hardworking people and work extremely long hours. You can see them driving around the neighborhoods sometime at 8-9:00pm. Believe me when I say, they are overworked because of how the system is run by upper management and Post Master. Be kind to your carriers please. They are just the messenger.”
“Younger woman running the counter was nice and helpful. She walked me through which type of shipment would get the package to it's destination by Monday (it was Friday when I visited) with tracking. I think the bad reviews are more for the postal delivery drivers than the actual walk-in location. Also grabbed some stamps because I'm loving the new designs.”

“Disappointed to see the negative reviews. I have never had a bad experience here; the staff have always been friendly to me, and I have always been able to find out where my mail is (and never had any disappear). Especially being new to Iowa, this has been a pretty good experience for me. Considering this isn't a post office (just a processing facility), I've been happy to find that the staff always have answers to the questions I ask.”
