“When you travel to Fort Madison Iowa, it's a must to see and grocery store experience. The meat is butcher style and they have grocery kids that bag and carry them out for you. I'm glad the world has some places still that teach moral ? I would definitely go back when I pass through again”

“The store manager Diane is the best. She works so hard, even sacrificing her days off to ensure her customers have the correct prices and items available. The staff works hard and are in desperate need of help. (What DG isn't in desperate need of help?) If you ever need a person in charge that will help you with an issue, just look for Diane, Courty, Kelly or Jeff and you'll ne in good hands.Freshly remodeled and now offering fresh veggies, fruits and meat. A larger cooler section was added to offer more variety of ice cream, yogurt, sour cream, lunchables and more.More ways to check out, not only do you have 2 cashier check out stations but 4 self check outs have been added. 2 are cards only and the other 2 are cash or card.”

“What is happening with the Doughnuts? Specifically, the Glazed. The last month or so, the glaze is almost nonexistent. It really seems the donuts are made ahead of time and then refrigerated. Or baked too long. I called and talked with someone and was told they were training a new baker. Training is not going well. It’s been a couple weeks since I called and talked to someone about it, and they are getting worse not better.”

“I would like to say "thank you" to the floral department for making my 96 year-old grandmother's birthday. Her bouquet was delivered today, on time, to the correct address, and protected in wrapping from the extremely cold temps. I ordered the "florist choice" bouquet and so glad that I did. The assortment of colorful, fresh flowers was so beautiful, it moved her to tears.When you live hundreds of miles away, it is hard to know what you are going to get when a gift is ordered online. But I have always had good luck with the quality and service at Ft. Madison Hy-Vee. Thanks again!”
