“I walked in the door with my nephew and Taylor immediately greeted us, he asked us some questions and since this purchase was for my nephew, Taylor talked directly to him and figured out the best mattress. It did not take long and we purchased what we wanted. Taylor did not pressure us into purchasing a more expensive mattress and springs than what we wanted.We soon set up the delivery date which was early the next week since the mattresses are manufactured the day before delivery.I can't say enough about Taylor and will be back when it is time to purchase the next one.”

“I've been coming here for years. I pop in for sales and try to snag deals and every summer sale I come home with some beautiful and unique surprises. This year it was a Lee Broom lamp which is a collector's item! I'm so in love with this and the Ligne Roset vase I've had my eyes on for a while.I am so proud that Des Moines has such a gem of a store in our midst - a wonderful modern interiors design store with a floor full of art, furniture, lighting and home goods you can't find just anywhere. They also offer design services with their talented staff.I will add it's just so nice to come in there and have you all treat me so well, remember my name, and just act like everyone who comes in is worthy of your time. I can't say that about every higher-end store that I go to (think Miami, LA, etc.).Bravo to Projects for making modern design accessible! “Target Merle Hay is a-ok. Smaller version of the "super" Target that is only 5 min away. The layout of this location is different from the rest. It's also located and attached to the mall. Grocery can be found here. This location had some items in stock that others would be fully stocked. Nice collection of everything that a larger store would have: Opalhouse, Hearth and Hand, seasonal clothing brands, vegan items, electronics, bikes. I can tell they stock less of the items due to space. Service is ok. I tend to see same cashiers and customer service managers. I hardly come here but I have found that if other locations are out of something, I can find it here via Target app. Drive up pick up is offered here. Parking lot can be crazy. Layout is similar to others in DSM but just smaller.”

I visited many furniture stores but got hooked on Ethan Allen for their service, hospitality and made to order products. It took about three visits to finalize my order but when it arrived, with my designer meeting me at my new home, I was completely thrilled with the final outcome. Since the quality is high, I don't know when I will be back since I expect it to last a long-time; however, I recommend Ethen Allen to anyone who wants to make an impression on his or her guests.”

“We were looking at bird baths from here and liked all the selections. Then we talked to the worker and he said the baths and bases were changeable which was great. We switched a base we liked with a bath we thought would look good with it. He asked if we wanted it painted to which we said "YES!" He let us pick our own colors and even showed us samples. It took maybe 2 weeks to get it painted and I couldn't be happier! It looks great in my flower bed. Here are pictures of the raw, concrete bird bath and the finished, painted product. Absolutely love it!!”
