Today, it was a little lacking, the make-up and bidy care aisle was bare, and they were already putting out FALL, We aren't even to July yet. It's frustrating when they set it out so early because if you font buy it now, it's gone, and I'm not decorating for fall right now. When it actually is FALL, they won't have anything left.”
“Cash register experience is the awkward part. They make the employee scan it for you, even though it is designed as a self checkout, and then when I needed to pay with cash the machine wouldn't take it and the employee had to go to her station at the front of the store to deposit the cash.”
“Amazingly clean and well kept. Great variety! Didn’t like that you can’t take carts out of store- makes for several trips back and forth to car in dark parking lot. Not safe.”

“Not perfect in being organized but customers are much to blame. Razella the store manager is always laughing and smiling, she knows so many customers and makes you feel like family. I always feel welcomed when she is there. This lady definitely needs a raise with how much she works and actually cares about her job.”

“I go to two different three different Dollar Generals two of them are very nice and clean and very well organized the one closest to my house is just the opposite so I don't go there very often but I do know that they have a lot of things that you wouldn't normally find in other stores and I like the things that they have I just wish the one that is closest to me was cleaner and the clerks were nicer.”
“I was happy they had some Halloween candy promotional items out on display and also including Mountain Dew VooDoo 3. There was some pumpkin spice covered pretzels and few other new items. Herein lies the problem, regular everyday shelf items are out of stock. Frito Lay chip aisle completely blown out. Things you are searching for that are normally available are not available at all. This means you have to come back later or spend time going somewhere else.”
“Almost as neat as the old Woolworth’s that used to be downtown minus the drug store and the soda fountains of course. Their prices, considering today’s times and the ever increasing inflation but now they are bringing in the $3 and $5 items…does this mean they are working to get away from the now $1.25 price tag? Overall, for today not too bad but I expect if pushing away from the lower priced items then spend a little money on training members of the staff to smile, be friendly with the customers and not just with fellow employees.”

UPDATE 9-9-23
I just stopped by the Andover Dollar General to buy groceries, my order was a large full cart order around 170 dollars. Not only was the woman at the checkout quick and got me checked out in no time, but also was very friendly. This is one of the best Dollar Generals around.

“This is a good corner store. I like that it's local and it has basics + other stuff too. I wish there was a buzzer or a bell to call an employee to the register. “Great store. I went in there looking to buy makeup and self-care items. It was perfection, $1.25 for each product. I got home and tried out my makeup and it works scary well. I believe the service there was so polite. It was even well stocked even though it was morning and they had most of the stuff I wanted to try.”
“We're very polite to me and my service animal nearly had anxiety attack when they noticed My Husky leaning against me and helping I was nervous they would kick her out but instead they help me as well and gave her treats for a job well done I'm forever grateful for that”
“Some things I buy here for a better price than say Walmart or Dillon’s. And if you get a five dollar coupon on your receipt you can go back that upcoming Saturday and get $5 off your total purchase price of $25 or more. Every week the register spits out a five dollar coupon if you shop before the upcoming Saturday. So, you need a rug or two or sweatshirt or stock up on TP and detergent or whatever. If total is at least $25 you get five dollars off with said coupon. You’re welcome! : )”
“Dollar Tree has really upped their game on some of the products they offer. They are selling dupes of some name brand health and beauty items that they can't keep on the shelf.”
“Priced friendly but the area in the store they need to widen the isles out because the way it is not its just ridiculous you have to wait for others to come out before you go in that's how small the isles are but the check out is best-set as OK food choices are fine item choices unlimited no sure about wheelchair accessibility but their is handicap parking”
