“Fun store to shop at. Great prices and interesting items. Employees are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the aisles are so small it is difficult to get by other shoppers with a cart. I signed up for the Ollie's shoppers card and have received some great coupons. Didn't take long either.”

“Cash register experience is the awkward part. They make the employee scan it for you, even though it is designed as a self checkout, and then when I needed to pay with cash the machine wouldn't take it and the employee had to go to her station at the front of the store to deposit the cash.”
“We love dollar general, they always have cool stuff at decent prices , some stuff is a lot higher than elsewhere but they are usually closer to home so unless we need to go to Walmart or target we will buy it at DG.”
“This is a good corner store. I like that it's local and it has basics + other stuff too. I wish there was a buzzer or a bell to call an employee to the register. I do like the new produce section that's starting up !! Can't wait to have that more often to rely on for fresh groceries and not so much processed food.”
“Some things I buy here for a better price than say Walmart or Dillon’s. And if you get a five dollar coupon on your receipt you can go back that upcoming Saturday and get $5 off your total purchase price of $25 or more. Every week the register spits out a five dollar coupon if you shop before the upcoming Saturday. So, you need a rug or two or sweatshirt or stock up on TP and detergent or whatever. If total is at least $25 you get five dollars off with said coupon. You’re welcome! : )”
“I love shopping at this location. The store is always clean and organized. Displays are beautifully done. My favorite part of coming here is Denise (Denice?). She is a bright spot in my usually crappy days. She is always helpful and welcoming. Her positive energy just makes me feel better.”
“Dollar General is within walking distance from my apartment. I shop there for food (no fresh produce) and household products and personal items. It is well stocked and maintained, the staff is courteous and friendly.”

“I go to two different three different Dollar Generals two of them are very nice and clean and very well organized the one closest to my house is just the opposite so I don't go there very often but I do know that they have a lot of things that you wouldn't normally find in other stores and I like the things that they have I just wish the one that is closest to me was cleaner and the clerks were nicer.”
“Actually the guy that said our manager is racist should of asked her first because he asked me and I'm not in charge of the store I told him to ask her if he can set up his food truck he never came in and asked her.”

“First I would like to say the prices in this place is not a dollar however the prices are still great. Services are a bit average because the lack of employees. Usually one or two employees a day doing everything.
The stocking process is a bit slow as well so you'll find a lot of things unavailable for a few days or more.”

I had an item that wasn't in their pricing system, but the cashier knew exactly how to find it without checking the shelf. “I absolutely love going to the Dollar General,but my favorite location is the one located at 47th and Broadway.I just love the people there,because they treat people like people and not just being like(oh no not another customer/inconvenience).I have came at times when the line has had more then 6 people and the other employee was on break or didn’t realize there was a line long of people,but the employee that was checking people out didn’t get frustrated/overwhelmed and kept her cool and never once treated a customer wrong in anyway or fashion.That is the reason I like/love this Dollar General location 150% more then any other location.I will drive by 2 or 3 Dollar General’s to come to my favorite location.

“Almost as neat as the old Woolworth’s that used to be downtown minus the drug store and the soda fountains of course. Their prices, considering today’s times and the ever increasing inflation but now they are bringing in the $3 and $5 items…does this mean they are working to get away from the now $1.25 price tag? Overall, for today not too bad but I expect if pushing away from the lower priced items then spend a little money on training members of the staff to smile, be friendly with the customers and not just with fellow employees.”

“Very nice, clean store, lots of different items. Only rainbow I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is, I wanted a couple of storage totes. They were up on a rack above my head so I could reach them, I walked around for about 15 minutes looking for an associate to help unfortunately I left without them because none could be found.”
