“The local pharmacy in Leavenworth closed & transferred our scripts to Walgreens without our permission. I will not use Walgreens (or Walmart) so I transferred our scripts to CVS (also the preferred pharmacy of our insurance), but they kept messing up my scripts, so I started looking for a new pharmacy. Since we go to breakfast at Flashbacks quite often, I checked into Downtown Drugstore. We have been very happy since!!!! We have been there for a very short time but they know us by name already!!! Everyone is always very nice & helpful!!! We do pay more for some of our scripts, but not that much!!! Plus we get to go to breakfast a bit more often since we have to pickup our scripts!!!”

“This is a great little pharmacy and they always help me get the best prices. At one point I ran out of a prescription that I have to take daily and come to find out the pharmacist can give you a partial fill until you get that prescription which they did for me. (Only if being off said meds can negatively impact your health)They gave me two or three days of meds (subtracted from my pending prescription) until I could see my doctor and let me tell you it was an absolute life saver. I let them know I don’t have insurance and they make sure to get me the best prices possible and I appreciate it so much!”

“Stellar! The staff here is just AMAZING! We have been coming to this pharmacy since it opened. There have been times where my husbands prescriptions had to go to other Wal-Mart's in our area and let's just say, we absolutely hate that. Not because we don't want to travel but because the other pharmacies staff (phone etiquette and face to face encounters) seem to be less educated and uninterested in their job duties. Everyone here is so caring, genuine, helpful, non judgemental, remember patients (illness, my husband is in cancer remission) and ALWAYS ask how we are ALL doing. There is nothing more heartwarming, than to leave an appt and encounter these folks. This is what every health care team should be like. Simply the best!”

“The staff at Auburn go above and beyond. I have recently been through an experience where I have Had multiple complicated new prescriptions that changed a lot over the past year. The staff went above and beyond to help me find another pharmacy that could fill my medication immediately when I waited too long to request a refill and it was a Saturday. I showed up 10 minutes before they were closing, the staff members stayed behind after closing time calling multiple pharmacies to find me a medication that I required. They did not give up until we found one. Then they went through the process to transfer the prescription for me by this time it was well after closing. The medication I am on can make me forgetful and they have been so helpful helping me sync the prescriptions and everything now it’s all set up on auto refill. I apologize I am terrible with names and I cannot personally thank the employees but I would like them to know how much I appreciate them. Also the fact that you deliver for people who cannot drive is amazing and one of the best things about a small independent pharmacy. Please remember to support small businesses neighbors in Eudora. “Walgreens on 129th Street in Bonner Springs, Kansas has, by far, been the best pharmacy with whom I've ever had the pleasure of doing business. A GREAT deal of that fact has been because of Parker, one of the pharmacists.Parker goes above and beyond, not only giving you great customer service, but he makes sure that what you've been prescribed is exactly what he agrees with the doctor, will be the best solution for you i.e. he knows I cannot have NSAIDs, so even though my doctor might prescribe an NSAID for inflammation, Parker will contact the doctor and say, if you go with this differently branded script that's not an NSAID, then you don't have to worry about ulcers, etc. He also takes into consideration the financial aspect of things and, when he can, comes up with very helpful ways to save you coin i.e. suggesting you go with a generic, suggesting you use their Rx Sense program (finds saving cards for you) that can end up being less expensive than your health insurance co-pay, or even suggesting a less costly over-the-counter med.Once, Parker noticed that my monthly refill of a prescription all of a sudden had a different quantity written for that specific month. It had literally been the same for at least a year. He called the doctor immediately to inquire about this, not knowing the reason the doctor did it was, in deed, for legitimate reasons. He did this just to MAKE SURE that I was being treated appropriately. He treats me better than my own relatives do!Parker, even on the busiest of days, is more than friendly and always takes the time to answer all of your questions without you feeling like he's rushing you.Parker, just...thanks for being you!”
