“Always friendly and they usually have their shelves stocked, I love this dollar store! The dollar store off Oliver and Lincoln sucks they are great at one thing ok maybe to they are good at keeping their shelves empty and LORD help us all if you ask them anything?”

“Cash register experience is the awkward part. They make the employee scan it for you, even though it is designed as a self checkout, and then when I needed to pay with cash the machine wouldn't take it and the employee had to go to her station at the front of the store to deposit the cash.”
“I was happy they had some Halloween candy promotional items out on display and also including Mountain Dew VooDoo 3. There was some pumpkin spice covered pretzels and few other new items. Herein lies the problem, regular everyday shelf items are out of stock. Frito Lay chip aisle completely blown out. Things you are searching for that are normally available are not available at all. This means you have to come back later or spend time going somewhere else.”
“Actually the guy that said our manager is racist should of asked her first because he asked me and I'm not in charge of the store I told him to ask her if he can set up his food truck he never came in and asked her.”
“The tall gentleman with the striking blue eyes and long curly hair remembers my granny every time she comes in. She has a huge crush on him and it makes her day every time she sees him because he dresses very well and is always so polite! He should be the president of the company!”
“This is a good corner store. I like that it's local and it has basics + other stuff too. I wish there was a buzzer or a bell to call an employee to the register. I do like the new produce section that's starting up !! Can't wait to have that more often to rely on for fresh groceries and not so much processed food.”

“Great store. I went in there looking to buy makeup and self-care items. It was perfection, $1.25 for each product. I got home and tried out my makeup and it works scary well. I believe the service there was so polite. It was even well stocked even though it was morning and they had most of the stuff I wanted to try.”
“Some things I buy here for a better price than say Walmart or Dillon’s. And if you get a five dollar coupon on your receipt you can go back that upcoming Saturday and get $5 off your total purchase price of $25 or more. Every week the register spits out a five dollar coupon if you shop before the upcoming Saturday. So, you need a rug or two or sweatshirt or stock up on TP and detergent or whatever. If total is at least $25 you get five dollars off with said coupon. You’re welcome! : )”
“The MacArthur store is a great store. They generally have what you need, as long as it's not cold groceries. I don't know if it's all stores or just that one but they are always out of lunch meat an all cold groceries.”
“I absolutely love going to the Dollar General,but my favorite location is the one located at 47th and Broadway.I just love the people there,because they treat people like people and not just being like(oh no not another customer/inconvenience).I have came at times when the line has had more then 6 people and the other employee was on break or didn’t realize there was a line long of people,but the employee that was checking people out didn’t get frustrated/overwhelmed and kept her cool and never once treated a customer wrong in anyway or fashion.That is the reason I like/love this Dollar General location 150% more then any other location.I will drive by 2 or 3 Dollar General’s to come to my favorite location.

“Almost as neat as the old Woolworth’s that used to be downtown minus the drug store and the soda fountains of course. Their prices, considering today’s times and the ever increasing inflation but now they are bringing in the $3 and $5 items…does this mean they are working to get away from the now $1.25 price tag? Overall, for today not too bad but I expect if pushing away from the lower priced items then spend a little money on training members of the staff to smile, be friendly with the customers and not just with fellow employees.”
“There's not a lot of customer service here, but the cashier was super friendly, and very professional. I had an item that wasn't in their pricing system, but the cashier knew exactly how to find it without checking the shelf. I worked in retail MGMT for 14 years, and I would've been delighted to have hired her when I was managing retail stores!Store #04075; visit time was 10-17-23 @ 12:19pm”
