    “I continue to take advantage of the 6:00 am Tuesday morning opening for seniors. I am very grateful to Walmart for providing this time for us. I do however wish that more people would follow the rules of social distancing and the simple one way aisles that they have gone to the trouble of laying out for us. Mostly I would ask "WOULD IT KILL YOU TO WEAR A MASK?" Remember you can have this stuff for like 14 days before you show any symptoms and by not wearing a mask you could kill ME.”

    “Where to begin? This Walmart had EVERYTHING we needed. The deli had lunchmeats, cheeses, and tapioca pudding, YUM! Ann also got a bag of (what I would assume to be new) Nacho Cheese Doritos. Scarlett and Trina each got one of those gameboy advanced games or whatever they call them now, and both have been playing them for hours already! The staff at the deli was friendly and helpful, and an employee even showed me where the gift cards were. Guess what they had? Papa John's gift cards! So now I can be ready to swipe as soon as I go to pickup my next Double Cheeseburger pizza. Incredible. Walmart, you know how to provide an array of delightful services and products. The bathroom was even clean, and that was appreciated because I have diverticulitis and it sometimes flares up unexpectedly. Happy New Year, Walmart Family!”

    “I made the switch to the Walmart Pharmacy because Walgreen's is no longer open on weekends, and shuts down at any time because they only have one pharmacist. The young woman helping me pick up my prescription was VERY FAST, which is important to me. She actually had a sense of urgency and was concerned with my customer experience. She was exceptional, especially these days as all I hear are complaints about poor customer service. She seemed to like working for Walmart and embraced providing excellent customer service. It was a very heartening experience.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.     Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
