Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas has been providing over 125 years of service as a CARF-accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment, the organization empowers job seekers through individualized programs and services. Customers praise the helpful and friendly employees, though some note the prices can be high, and the store feeling a bit tight and cluttered. Despite these minor concerns, the Goodwill store is generally described as clean, organized, and a great place to find thrifted deals.
They always have a great selection. They receive 4 stars because their prices are about 15% higher than other Kansas City thrift stores.
March 2024
This goodwill is pretty empty. Many of their clothing racks had barely any items and the sizing per aisle was not marked very well. I was hoping to find some treasures there today but sadly left empty handed.
September 2023
Usually has a nice variety of items. Very clean store.
