“Admittedly, I was hesitant to book here after reading some reviews about the property being unkept and in need of repair. After staying here I can say this hotel is well kept, well managed and in a fantastic location. It's within walking distance to more shops and restaurants than you can imagine. My first impression was from Kate at the front desk who was absolutely a delight. She was highly knowledgeable and very friendly. The room was clean, smelled great and had a enviable view of the ice skating rink. The view of the Christmas lights was a great touch. Parking was simple and free to the garage just north of the hotel, about a two minute walk.”
“Wow! Absolutely AMAZING customer service! I stay at hotels about once, twice a week for work. I frequent Marriott locations as well, I’m not sure if it is the location or ALL of the employees, but I have never experienced such amazing customer service from a regular hotel! It was similar to a resort experience for just a one night work trip! The attendants at front desk were so accommodating, & so kind as well. I unfortunately missed my flight and overslept, and I am not a bonvoy member either, and they gave me until 2 to enjoy the time I had until I was able to make my flight. Wow, I am so so pleased with this stay & this will be my permanent location when I visit Kansas City. Thank you again to all the hard working employees who made my stay such a pleasant one when I went though my own personal difficulties.”

“Wonderful in every way! Definitely a place my husband and I will return - felt like a true getaway. Location is perfect - love love love the nightly jazz (especially the dueling strings on Sunday night), the breakfast, and the customer service!! The Chaz manager and bartender are fantastic. Very unique and special place. Also enjoyed running and walking at Loose Park up the hill.”

“Staying for a conference and I have had a wonderful experience. Front desk staff has been very helpful and checked in on me daily. Also have eaten at the restaurant three times! Great wings, burger, and cheesecake. Kelsey was an amazing server tonight, as was Sydney last night! Night and day experience from the Marriott. Also had a great conversation with the manager. Would love for you to offer ginger ale, if that ever becomes possible.”

“I had a great stay at the Hampton Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The hotel itself felt safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax. Breakfast was a nice bonus with plenty of options, and everything was fresh and organized. Overall, it was a reliable, comfortable stay and I’d definitely choose Hampton Inn again.”

“Great hotel in a quiet area, but still felt safe. The staff were all incredibly helpful and kind. Free breakfast was an added plus and pretty good selection. There's a paid parking garage ($20/ night), but considering convenience and the added safety aspect we felt it was fair. Overall had a wonderful stay and would recommend!
Special shout out to Olivia, one of the breakfast staff, who went above and beyond every day! Her kindness was so appreciated!”

“We have stayed here multiple times and absolutely love it. It’s a very charming hotel with amazing staff! They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are so nice and spacious. The bathrooms are extremely clean and also very spacious. The Market has delicious food and desserts to enjoy. The location of the hotel is perfect for families because the parks are within walking distance and are beautiful parks. We usually bring our kiddos scooters and ride them around to all the different parks in the area. I could not say enough nice things about this hotel and their amazing staff.Rooms: Spacious and beautiful. Very clean and well kept.Nearby activities: The parks are so wonderful for kids! We love the location.”

“We had a great experience at this hotel and loved having the free tram available, which we took the entire time we were in KC. We ran into an issue with our type of room we booked not being available at check-in, but the front desk staff did a great job of rectifying that the next morning. The housekeeping staff even moved our bags to the new room for us when we were out for the day and included the two phone chargers we had forgot to pack back up that morning. I really appreciated their help in fixing the situation and making our stay more comfortable.”

“I stayed at this hotel for one night while in town for a concert, and it was quiet and in a very convenient location. Valet parking was available for $42 per day. Although I did not get a chance to visit the speakeasy, I heard it is a must while staying here. The two queen room was very nice, with plenty of space between the beds, which I really appreciated. The room was newly renovated and smelled amazing. I am not sure what air freshener they use, but the scent lasted throughout my entire stay.
I also ate at Tavernonna, which is located inside the hotel. I ordered the salmon piccata, and the food itself was good. Unfortunately, the downside was the staff, mainly the bartender.”

“Everyone staff member we talked to was super friendly. The hotel and room seemed very clean and taken care of. There was an annoying sound in the room we had that happened periodically, but fortunately when traveling, we always bring a small fan for white noise. The bed was confortable, and we can be picky about that. The one draw back to the hotel is the small breakfast area that becomes very overcrowded in the morning. Overall, happy with our stay here.”

“Our one night trip turned into a 4 night trip and I am so glad it ended up being here! Fully stocked kitchen and stove top to cook your own meals (which definitely makes the price worth it) , full sized fridge and a microwave. Free laundry, free coffee, unfortunately no breakfast but they do have breakfast items available for purchase. They also have a huge shelving unit with board games, crock pot, other items to borrow for free :) The staff has been extremely kind and helpful ESPECIALLY the general manager, she was such a sweet lady and I’m glad I got the pleasure of meeting her on our last day here. My ONLY complaint is the first room we had the ice maker didn’t work (room 121) but they have a huge free ice machine so it wasn’t a problem at all. 10/10 stay and will definitely be back if we’re ever in the area”

“I had a great stay at AC Hotel Kansas City. The hotel is clean, modern, and very well maintained. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it easy to rest and feel relaxed. I especially loved the bathroom — spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and I felt safe the entire time. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a pleasant atmosphere in Kansas City. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Good location. Walking distance to convention center and lots of restaurants. Streetcar stop outside the front door. Secure and clean. Nice lobby. Good breakfast. Cheerful staff. I just wish the shower got hotter than warm. Starbucks in the same building (connected). Update: on Day 4 I learned I could get at nice, hot shower at 5:15 am. It was glorious.”

“No place can be 100% perfect but this hotel did.am amazing job so we felt it was only right to give 5 stars. We left a very bad rental we made and found this place and so very very thankful. To tell you how clean things were, even the 'back' staircases were immaculate. Never saw one piece of trash anywhere. From absolutely warm and genuinely helpful front desk staff to a clean and hearty serve yourself breakfast buffet (even two kinds of batter for the waffles) to coffee with a selection of creamers to not just complimentary water but juice to pool and hot tub to thank you grabs bags ...the list goes on. They have even added night lights to the bathrooms- a small touch but isn't it the small things that show you a place cares about its customers? We were told if we had come on a day the Chiefs were playing there would have been crock pots set up for everyone to partake in! Wonderful! Thank you for making our last minute stay comfortable, inviting, and easy.”

“Stayed 1 night in a standard King hed room and was impressed that it came with a great little kitchenette. (Sink with an additional tap for filtered water, toaster, single serve coffee maker, microwave, a mini fridge, glass food storage containers, and real flatware.) The room and linens were CLEAN, staff was friendly, and the breakfast options were fantastic. As others have stated, my only conplaint was light coming in around and under the door which also created some noise issues when anyone walked down the hall.”
