“I came here for one night due to unfortunate circumstances in my life.I have been homeless living out of my jeep Cherokee for ten days. My best friend and roommate of 10 years passed away unexpectedly , there was not a thing I could do to help Mark. I could not afford rent payment singularly , rather I terminated my occupancy the landlord was in agreement , instead of draining the court system. Initially, I met Karen I believe is her name, she was working at the front desk and she was very accommodating and helpful for me to get a room overnight at a palatable price. I told her my extenuating circumstances since she was sympathetic and kind. Then I have met this other woman this morning. Julie who works at the front desk as well. I came here for rest and relaxation for twenty four hours from the heat i'm going back to bed ? for a few hours.understanding if somehow don't make it in time out the door, they know I'm old.Lol yes, I give it 5 stars and yes, I will stay here again just for the situation i had stated. The water ran plenty hot.I love that good pressure.Everything was clean and the bed was to the buy for I shouldn't say that because i'm going back in it or if a few hours just kidding , it is the most comfortable bed , but i've been in , I think ever besides my airbed,it'll take time to get back on my feet , in the meantime , I know there's a place of refuge for me to go and that is here.”

“I don’t usually write reviews but after staying here this past week and seeing some of the reviews on here for this location I decided I’d share about my experience. When I checked in I was helped by an impressive young man named Steve I believe. He was very friendly and professional. I say impressive because in the first part of my stay there was a fire on the property. A car caught fire in the parking lot in front of the building I stayed in. When the fire alarm went off I went outside to see smoke and other guests evacuating the building. I was relieved to find it was a car on fire and not the building. Steve was on top of the situation almost instantly. He came running (with two fire extinguishers) telling people to stand back and started trying to put out the fire immediately. He sent another man who worked there in search of other fire extinguishers while reminding people not to breathe in the smoke coming off the car (the tires were now burning and the smoke was very toxic..smart cookie). He went through at least 6 or 7 fire extinguishers before the fire department arrived. The fire department was able to put it out very quickly but I believe if Steve hadn’t been so quick to jump into action and in control of the situation the outcome could have been much worse. Apart from the fire my stay was great. My neighbors were quiet, my room was clean, the staff was helpful and very friendly. The young woman who works the late afternoon and evening shift (I cannot remember her name it was very unique) is also worth mentioning. She was very sweet and helpful. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the breakfast they offer. I was expecting a little more. It’s nice they offer breakfast because most hotels don’t these days. However if you are expecting scrambled eggs or cereal you will be disappointed. You can expect a protein bar, oatmeal, muffins and coffee. Great for a morning snack on the go but definitely not enough to replace breakfast. If I travel back to KC again I would absolutely stay there again. The price you can’t beat and the fact there was a fire and I still enjoyed my stay is enough to trust id enjoy any future stays.”
