Several more restaurants and bars within walking distance. Saheera was the first friendly face upon our arrival and was VERY helpful. Smooth early check-in! Highly recommend!”

“We stayed here 40 years ago on our honeymoon and are now back for our 40th anniversary. The place is so much fun!! Door man- awesome, front desk- extremely friendly and engaging, bartender- hilarious, live jazz duo- best I’ve seen. It is in a historic building from 1920s on the beautiful Kansas City County Club Plaza. Highly recommend. Will probably make this our go-to spot for anniversaries going forward.”
“This is a great business hotel located downtown and easy to get to etc. It is not an amazing family hotel as there is no pool, breakfast isn't included, and they don't want gatherings if more than 10 people. For business trips, it's good service, a nice bar, and nice and clean rooms.”

Truly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had
My stay at the Drury Hotel was nothing short of amazing, and it was entirely because of the people. The staff were exceptionally phenomenal—kind, attentive, and genuinely caring in a way you don’t experience often anymore. Every single person I interacted with made me feel welcomed, valued, and at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet—exactly what you want after a long sometimes longer day. The amenities were outstanding, especially the complimentary hot breakfast and evening 5:30 Kickback, which honestly felt like a bonus you’d expect at an all inclusive resort, not a hotel stay.
What really sets Drury apart is the consistency of excellence. Everything was smooth, stress-free, and thoughtfully done. The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and relaxing, but it was the heart of the staff that made this place special. You can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in what they do.
They went above and beyond in ways that didn’t feel forced or part of a script. It felt sincere. Their warmth and professionalism turned what could have been just an almost month long hotel stay into a truly memorable experience.
I’m beyond grateful for this experience and will absolutely choose Drury again. Drury has always been my favorite but by far Drury -Kansas City airport is World Class and Top Tier. Thank you again for everything. Words cannot even express my gratitude”

“Staying for a conference and I have had a wonderful experience. Front desk staff has been very helpful and checked in on me daily. Also have eaten at the restaurant three times! Great wings, burger, and cheesecake. Kelsey was an amazing server tonight, as was Sydney last night! Night and day experience from the Marriott. Also had a great conversation with the manager. Would love for you to offer ginger ale, if that ever becomes possible.”

“Great hotel in a quiet area, but still felt safe. The staff were all incredibly helpful and kind. Free breakfast was an added plus and pretty good selection. There's a paid parking garage ($20/ night), but considering convenience and the added safety aspect we felt it was fair. Overall had a wonderful stay and would recommend!
Special shout out to Olivia, one of the breakfast staff, who went above and beyond every day! Her kindness was so appreciated!”

“Always a great experience when I stay here. Today it was bit rainy but my shuttle drive Michale went out of his way to make sure we didn’t get soaked. He’s always thoughtful and courteous but today his service was truly exceptional.”
“Nice newer Springhill, typical of new construction of this chain. Unlike most hotels in this area near the airport this one is situated well away from the freeway so noise isn’t a problem. Two drawbacks:
- Hard water. Showers take forever and you end up stickier than before you got in.
- The pool is currently closed by order of the KC Health Department”

I'm a little floored every time I end up staying in one of these rooms. They're clean, they're modern, and they look fancy to me, both in terms of set up and also general placement/furniture. My kids, my husband and I have gone on a lot of day trips, and we usually drive a few hours, get a hotel, and spend most of the day either at the hotel or exploring the city the next day. This hotel is not like the other ones I've stayed at with them. I always walk in and see how outdated and grungey everything looks at the other places. Stains on the floor and furniture, socks in the bed from the last guest, room items not restocked or are damaged... this hotel isn't like that. I'm pleasantly surprised every time I check into one of these rooms.
Front desk is always kind and helpful.
Breakfast is always on point.
If I were to rebuild the building, I would've put parking on the opposite side. The circle drive is a little confusing because of how they have to have it for the parking and covered garage below. Nothing to be done about that now, though, and I doubt anyone there now had any say so in that decision.
This place is now our regular KC stop! Will be back soon!”

“We had a great experience at this hotel and loved having the free tram available, which we took the entire time we were in KC. We ran into an issue with our type of room we booked not being available at check-in, but the front desk staff did a great job of rectifying that the next morning. The housekeeping staff even moved our bags to the new room for us when we were out for the day and included the two phone chargers we had forgot to pack back up that morning. I really appreciated their help in fixing the situation and making our stay more comfortable.”

“Clean hotel and staff is very friendly and attentive. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and upgraded. The location is near shops, food, and cocktail lounges. We didn't experience rowdy late night crowds near or in the hotel. Just a middle aged crowd looking to have a good, classy weekend. The appreciated the valet and secure lot. Their breakfast was large portions and so yummy. The bedding and comforter could use improvement. Request a room not facing the street, it's a main street with high traffic. This is area is considerably safe.”

“I had a good time. It was my birthday so I decided to stay there. I'm a non smoker so that wasn't very good smoking everyone's cigarettes. Geez. By the end of my 2 night stay I felt and smelt like a carton of cigarettes.”

The hotel was right next to the interstate so everything around us was easily accessible. If we're in KC again we would definitely come back.”

“Perfect location by the airport. A exit or two up are tons of shopping, restaurants, drug stores, grocery stores and a hospital. Everything you need. Nice area.
They are remodeling. Be advised there is no pool or sauna and there is no plans to repair it. There is also no complimentary breakfast but they do put out coffee in the morning. There is a Waffle House next door and a Cracker Barrel next door.”

“The staff did a great job keeping up with everyone's needs. They were running around all night and morning, sweating they were working so hard for the folks that stayed on new-years eve. I they maintained a good attitude even though I could tell they were pushed to their limits. Overall great stay!!! The rooms need a little more attention to detail maintenance wise... but thats not all maintenance fault. I work in maintenance and i know keeping up with bad guests is hard.”

“I stayed at this hotel for one night while in town for a concert, and it was quiet and in a very convenient location. Valet parking was available for $42 per day. Although I did not get a chance to visit the speakeasy, I heard it is a must while staying here. The two queen room was very nice, with plenty of space between the beds, which I really appreciated. The room was newly renovated and smelled amazing. I am not sure what air freshener they use, but the scent lasted throughout my entire stay.
I also ate at Tavernonna, which is located inside the hotel. I ordered the salmon piccata, and the food itself was good. Unfortunately, the downside was the staff, mainly the bartender.”

“Wow! Absolutely AMAZING customer service! I stay at hotels about once, twice a week for work. I frequent Marriott locations as well, I’m not sure if it is the location or ALL of the employees, but I have never experienced such amazing customer service from a regular hotel! It was similar to a resort experience for just a one night work trip! The attendants at front desk were so accommodating, & so kind as well. I unfortunately missed my flight and overslept, and I am not a bonvoy member either, and they gave me until 2 to enjoy the time I had until I was able to make my flight. Wow, I am so so pleased with this stay & this will be my permanent location when I visit Kansas City. Thank you again to all the hard working employees who made my stay such a pleasant one when I went though my own personal difficulties.”
