“Admittedly, I was hesitant to book here after reading some reviews about the property being unkept and in need of repair. After staying here I can say this hotel is well kept, well managed and in a fantastic location. It's within walking distance to more shops and restaurants than you can imagine. My first impression was from Kate at the front desk who was absolutely a delight. She was highly knowledgeable and very friendly. The room was clean, smelled great and had a enviable view of the ice skating rink. The view of the Christmas lights was a great touch. Parking was simple and free to the garage just north of the hotel, about a two minute walk.”

“This place is amazing I have never enjoyed myself more than I have here wonderful food, service, swimming pool and hot tub and don't forget about the three drinks daily free if you want to be pampered come stay at the Drury Inn and Suites you won't regret it”
“Wow! Absolutely AMAZING customer service! I stay at hotels about once, twice a week for work. I frequent Marriott locations as well, I’m not sure if it is the location or ALL of the employees, but I have never experienced such amazing customer service from a regular hotel! It was similar to a resort experience for just a one night work trip! The attendants at front desk were so accommodating, & so kind as well. I unfortunately missed my flight and overslept, and I am not a bonvoy member either, and they gave me until 2 to enjoy the time I had until I was able to make my flight. Wow, I am so so pleased with this stay & this will be my permanent location when I visit Kansas City. Thank you again to all the hard working employees who made my stay such a pleasant one when I went though my own personal difficulties.”

“ABSOLUTE PRIME SPOT! Beautiful and clean room, two great restaurants, and a bar in the same building. There is also a rooftop bar that has the best view of the city. Several more restaurants and bars within walking distance. Saheera was the first friendly face upon our arrival and was VERY helpful. Smooth early check-in! Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful in every way! Definitely a place my husband and I will return - felt like a true getaway. Location is perfect - love love love the nightly jazz (especially the dueling strings on Sunday night), the breakfast, and the customer service!! The Chaz manager and bartender are fantastic. Very unique and special place. Also enjoyed running and walking at Loose Park up the hill.”
“This is a great business hotel located downtown and easy to get to etc. It is not an amazing family hotel as there is no pool, breakfast isn't included, and they don't want gatherings if more than 10 people. For business trips, it's good service, a nice bar, and nice and clean rooms.”
“Our stay at the Meadowbrook was amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was exceptionally clean, which is sad to say in any review. The bathroom and walk in shower was spacious as well as the room itself. We live in Overland Park and I Pokémon hunt in Meadowbrook Park so it was really close and reasonable for a staycation. The only criticism, which is I see in most of the comments, is the small size of the Market. Luckily there are a multitude of restaurants in the area so it wasn’t a real disappointment. We will definitely stay again.”

Knowing that I was in the capable hands of such a dedicated staff provided me with peace of mind as I managed the event from start to finish.
Throughout the entire planning and execution process, Jessica and Sydnee exceeded all expectations. “Staying for a conference and I have had a wonderful experience. Front desk staff has been very helpful and checked in on me daily. Also have eaten at the restaurant three times! Great wings, burger, and cheesecake. Kelsey was an amazing server tonight, as was Sydney last night! Night and day experience from the Marriott. Also had a great conversation with the manager. Would love for you to offer ginger ale, if that ever becomes possible.”

“I had a great stay at the Hampton Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The hotel itself felt safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax. Breakfast was a nice bonus with plenty of options, and everything was fresh and organized. Overall, it was a reliable, comfortable stay and I’d definitely choose Hampton Inn again.”

“Great hotel in a quiet area, but still felt safe. The staff were all incredibly helpful and kind. Free breakfast was an added plus and pretty good selection. There's a paid parking garage ($20/ night), but considering convenience and the added safety aspect we felt it was fair. Overall had a wonderful stay and would recommend!
Special shout out to Olivia, one of the breakfast staff, who went above and beyond every day! Her kindness was so appreciated!”

I'm a little floored every time I end up staying in one of these rooms. They're clean, they're modern, and they look fancy to me, both in terms of set up and also general placement/furniture. My kids, my husband and I have gone on a lot of day trips, and we usually drive a few hours, get a hotel, and spend most of the day either at the hotel or exploring the city the next day. This hotel is not like the other ones I've stayed at with them. I always walk in and see how outdated and grungey everything looks at the other places. Stains on the floor and furniture, socks in the bed from the last guest, room items not restocked or are damaged... this hotel isn't like that. I'm pleasantly surprised every time I check into one of these rooms.
Front desk is always kind and helpful.
Breakfast is always on point.
If I were to rebuild the building, I would've put parking on the opposite side. The circle drive is a little confusing because of how they have to have it for the parking and covered garage below. Nothing to be done about that now, though, and I doubt anyone there now had any say so in that decision.
This place is now our regular KC stop! Will be back soon!”

“Our one night trip turned into a 4 night trip and I am so glad it ended up being here! Fully stocked kitchen and stove top to cook your own meals (which definitely makes the price worth it) , full sized fridge and a microwave. Free laundry, free coffee, unfortunately no breakfast but they do have breakfast items available for purchase. They also have a huge shelving unit with board games, crock pot, other items to borrow for free :) The staff has been extremely kind and helpful ESPECIALLY the general manager, she was such a sweet lady and I’m glad I got the pleasure of meeting her on our last day here. My ONLY complaint is the first room we had the ice maker didn’t work (room 121) but they have a huge free ice machine so it wasn’t a problem at all. 10/10 stay and will definitely be back if we’re ever in the area”

“Our family booked a room at the other Springhill Suites Overland Park at 12000 Blue Valley Parkway only to discover they cancelled our reservation less than 3 hours away from arrival. As a result, our family was left scrambling on Memorial Day weekend to find another hotel. I contacted this location and spoke with Ashley over the phone. Though I had an awful experience at their other location, I just wanted to express my gratitude to Ashley at this hotel. She was very kind and helpful. I could tell she did her very best to help us. Even though they were fully booked, thank you, Ashley for all you did! I would’ve totally stayed here if they weren’t booked.”

“We had a great experience at this hotel and loved having the free tram available, which we took the entire time we were in KC. We ran into an issue with our type of room we booked not being available at check-in, but the front desk staff did a great job of rectifying that the next morning. The housekeeping staff even moved our bags to the new room for us when we were out for the day and included the two phone chargers we had forgot to pack back up that morning. I really appreciated their help in fixing the situation and making our stay more comfortable.”

“Everyone staff member we talked to was super friendly. The hotel and room seemed very clean and taken care of. There was an annoying sound in the room we had that happened periodically, but fortunately when traveling, we always bring a small fan for white noise. The bed was confortable, and we can be picky about that. The one draw back to the hotel is the small breakfast area that becomes very overcrowded in the morning. Overall, happy with our stay here.”

“I stayed at this hotel for one night while in town for a concert, and it was quiet and in a very convenient location. Valet parking was available for $42 per day. Although I did not get a chance to visit the speakeasy, I heard it is a must while staying here. The two queen room was very nice, with plenty of space between the beds, which I really appreciated. The room was newly renovated and smelled amazing. I am not sure what air freshener they use, but the scent lasted throughout my entire stay.
I also ate at Tavernonna, which is located inside the hotel. I ordered the salmon piccata, and the food itself was good. Unfortunately, the downside was the staff, mainly the bartender.”

“My 5 star review is solely based on Robert. He is an asset to this hotel! He goes above and beyond. He deeply cares about the client experience. The Manager Sheila is also very service forward. She was actively clearing guests breakfast plates and making sure guests were enjoying their stay. The staff really makes a place and that is definitely true here at the Element in Overland Park.”
