“I'm so grateful and amazed at the kindness shown by the gentleman working there last Friday 27th of October. Recently widowed, been making several trips between our ranch in Colorado to Ohio. this trip I was hauling a smaller John Deere Tractor with some implements on 28 ft flatbed trailer & had noticed rear tires of crew cab I was pulling this with looked a little low. Went through 2 previous small towns on hwy 36 trying to locate air - without success. Saw a fellow & the sign said Coop & Tires and thought surely I can get some air here. He drove the service truck with a compressor over to my rig, filled both rear tires - checking pressures as he did. Saved my bacon!I'd already experienced a devastating blow out on one of the new rear tires of the flatbed just as I left our place in Colorado. Did NOT want a repeat of THAT! I didn't get his name, but the kind bearded fellow wouldn't take any money. Just can't thank you enough for your kindness - I really needed that! Through the years, my dear departed Marine hubby and I have helped many a traveler in trouble, even saved 5 souls on a too small of a sunken boat, including 3 small children WITHOUT lifejackets, so maybe some of that karma is coming back to help me now that I needed it. Highly recommend this business in Mankato - where my Grandpa and Great Grandpa are from (1800's)”
