“Ok so this is our new favorite place for meat besides our bulk farmer/processor in warrensburg. The cuts we have gotten have all been great quality. Also, the tamales and pico were both awesome VERY busy on Saturdays & for good reason!”

“I have purchased and ate the food from here and I gotta say it’s the best ground beef in town along with other meats I can’t usually find in retail grocery stores such as venison it’s high quality and has fairly priced items”

“This place has it all: a bustling grocery store, freshly made tortillas, a meat market, and excellent food for takeout or counter service with ample indoor seating. I had pork tamales, a taco al pastor, and a chile relleno taco (the first time I’ve had that, although I’ve always loved chile relleno on their own). All was really good: the chile relleno taco was my favorite, the al pastor was missing pineapple (bummer), and the pork tamales were yummy but maybe just a bit on the dry side. The salsa bar had several spicy options and I washed everything down with horchata. Great spot with a busy lunchtime crowd and lots of free parking.”

“This place is great! The food is super authentic, and made fresh! Great selection of foods, and styles of eatery. It’s not a typical “restaurant” but more like a grocery store with a bar that has fresh food. Was NOT disappointed! Great food!”

“The brisket sandwich was incredible, the ribs were perfectly smoky and the meat fell off the bones. The prices are more than fair. I would compare the style to Porky's, south of Grain Valley, or an older place like LCs. They use "Blue Hog" for their sweet sauce and a local supplier for the spicy (It just had a name tag that started with "KC's" and I couldn't read the rest) Functionally, you get your food from a trailer outside, next to the smoker, but it's essentially an extension of their deli, since you order at the store register.”
