“It's a great place for art supplies, candy, gifts, and electronic gizmos. The place can be a mess, but it's not necessarily their fault. As a lot of retail stores seem to have children come in all ages, and just throw things everywhere.”

“Burlington is a great place to find household items, gifts, and everything in between. The store may get a bit messy because it's popular, but it's always clean. Customer service is usually great. I ran a couple of errands and decided to go into Burlington. It turned into an uncomfortable experience shortly after I walked through the door. The store closes at 11, I walked in at 10:39 already planning on a real quick run through, which I made crystal clear when initially asked if I needed anything by a blonde woman who appeared to be the manager. I was the only customer in the store and she approached me multiple times. I was trying to look at jewelry for my mother, beauty products for a friend, etc; she followed me around to ask if I needed anything two more times. As she was trying to rush me and disguise it as customer service, she was also being counterproductive by making my trip take longer than I had planned. While I was in the household section, I hear her on the handheld radio announcing my presence and previous locations. Getting a head count would make sense for a closing manager, but adding the departments I had been previously in only further shows she was following me around. I reassured her co-worker that I was almost done. That lady and the cashier were as nice as can be. I was in the store for about 15 minutes, which would have been less had the manager been professional.”
“I’m going to base this off the service of the store which was really decent. Everyone was very friendly and supportive; so, I don’t want to crush them on the stars.
BE AWARE THEY TAKE APPOINTMENTS AND PRIORITIZE APPOINTMENTS. That means, while I’ve been doing walk ins at Wal-Mart for about 20+ years, I’m now stuck in an endless wait cycle due to appointments that might or might not happen. So far, the weight has been many hours with no end in sight. So, either have an appointment or stay away from this location. It’s a smaller store and seems completely understaffed; so, although they will check your car in, you will wait till they have enough time between appointments… so, you will be waiting forever.”
“We ordered a Radley sectional eight years ago. It has really held up well to our family of six and our pets. Just went in and ordered another Radley for a different room. The employees are helpful and of course there’s always sales!”

“Although the customer service counter seemed to move very slowly, once it was my turn, my pickup order was ready and accurate. This is my first pickup order experience at any JCPENNEY and I appreciated how easy it was. It would be nice to have a separate line for pickups so that orders that are already paid for can get priority service over someone with a giant load of returns/purchases who takes 15+ minutes at the counter. Once you find the entrance, the parking is convenient and plentiful on the top level of the parking structure.”
“Store is usually clean and well-stocked. Included Starbucks inside. Typically only has self-checkout open until lines get really long and then they might open 1-2 lanes. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful.”
“A week ago I placed an online grocery order and accidentally ordered it to this location (meant to go to the other Walmart on the other side of metcalf). When this store called me to tell me they couldn’t find me in the pick up area, they were so kind with my airheadedness when I was trying to clarify that I did goof up and went to the wrong location. (Seriously, that person I talked to was so patient when I asked multiple questions about their location because I just could not fathom that I made this mistake.) They were kind enough to let me pick my groceries up two hours after I had originally said I would be there and were quick to bring my groceries out when I did show up. This may seem like the “bare minimum” but for me, I was overwhelmed and embarrassed so their kindness and seemingly non-judgemental response to my mistake was truly my saving grace on that day. It was a little thing that could have easily sent me in a spiral but instead was such an easy fix. I don’t usually review stores, but I clicked too fast on the app for the “review my order” and only gave the 5 stars but not this long-winded “thank you”. I hope everyone that was working that day (because it was also one of the coldest days of the year) hit every green light home that day and their pillows were cold when they went to bed. Thank you for your kindness to someone you didn’t know in a world that feels like kind people are hard found.”
“Can always find a good deal here! I actually went the day before Christmas for a few last minute things and was extremely impressed with all the staff!! Even though it was very crowded and there was a very long line for checkout, they evidently planned well for this and were staffed well!! The line moved VERY quickly and staff were great. ? you could see the staff were really working and maybe close to being overloaded but they were still very nice and polite.”

“I love coming to this place and all the stuff is cute, however, it is starting to become apparent that sellers are using their “small business” title to sell things that they bought from large multibillion dollar companies for a very low price, and they put a price that would be about 10x the price than what they bought it for. There are a lot of great sellers with handmade products, but something that’s began to push it over the edge are some of the sellers selling “lafufus”. It’s starting to feel like going to the mall with all those cheap little toys that they charge you extra for. This place used to be a five stars for me, but recently, it’s been going downhill. I would still recommend it, but just keep an eye out for things you could probably get elsewhere for a better price, unless it is a handmade custom product by the seller. Other than that, this place is magical around Christmas time and there ARE sellers that have amazing products.”
