“Went to this restaurant on a recommendation. Since it was Sunday it was breakfast only. That's fine since I was in the mood for breakfast. Water was served in glass bottles where you pour more for yourself, which I like because you never know when the waiter will be back around to refill. Decided on the country fried steak with scrambled eggs and hash browns. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed the music playing in the background. Kind of reminds me of the music that's played at an aerobics studio. Helps you wake up and feel energized. I was happy with the amount of food that I had. Country fried steak wasn't too big nor to little. Enough to get you full but not to the point of going back to bed. I liked what I saw on the menu. Interesting twists on some classic breakfast items. However I would like to see some simple classics on the menu. Some folks just like good old eggs and bacon with a cup of coffee. The only other issue I have is the restroom. Men's side is in need of some cleaning. Markings all over the stall and diaper change table, the blow dry fan having a nasty brown stain on the wall. Best way to avoid that is to install a stainless steel plate in the wall. Makes it way easier to clean. Overall a good visit. But please get the restroom cleaned up.”

“Very good experience. Clean rooms and public areas. They have a Starbucks on the first floor which is ideal for a quick coffee and pastry in the morning. AC in the room is too loud. They charge for parking which is not standard in non crowded areas, it should be complementary.”

“I've stayed here i think 4 times. Multiple nights each time. Little store is convenient that's inside. The coffe is meh... but there is a Scooters is across the parking lot to solve that problem. Bed super comfy and everything is clean.”

“Very small one room museum. My preschoolers liked that they could touch everything at this museums. We used our pogo passes to get in. However, You can get free family pass from the Bonner spring and Olathe library for admission too.”

“My husband and I had dinner here Sunday night and I don't remember his name but the male manager was fantastic. He checked on our table and made sure we were taken care. He informed us and signed us up for the rewards. He even took care of a birthday dessert since we didn't know about the rewards program. He deserves a raise!”

“I came here to take a cookie decorating class. This place is pretty big! You wouldn't think that from the outside. The instructor, Lisa, was great! She was very informative and showed us everything. I'm a baker and I have a hard time with icing cookies so I don't make them. Her cookie and icing recipe was super simple unlike mine. My recipes are complicated it would appear. Hers, are short and still give you excellent results. I had fun icing the cookies even though I'm horrible at it. She made me feel confident that I could do this with a little practice. The table of ladies I sat with were great as well. Everyone had fun! I'm going to look up more classes that they have and see what I can do. Maybe drag my hubs or my 13 year old to one. I highly recommend taking a class here. The picture I added is of the cookies we decorated. These were the examples that Lisa did. Definitely not mine. Lol”

“The room was very nice for the price. The bathroom sink had a crack but the rest of the room was good. The coffee maker in the room didn't work either but there was coffee in the lobby in the morning. The cook didn't show up in the morning so no breakfast that I paid for. But I expressed my concerns to the manager and she did call me and refunded my breakfast. The location is great -- right by I35 and the hotel is going under renovations. I would give it another try because of the location and the price. Thanks”

“Update: I went again tonight and it was so much better. The DJ definitely was playing better songs and did a lot more line dancing songs then two step toward the end of the night.——————————————————————————-Original review: it’s boring….. I come from North Carolina where their country clubs is a lot more fun ( a lot less two stepping) . I don’t get the point of song requests if the dj isn’t going to play them and instead play songs that people don’t really know how to dance to. I read the request list and even wrote a song or two that was already requested and only like three songs were play from the entire list (fyi I was there the entire night).”

“This is a really good Hyatt Place. I stay at them frequently and this is one of the better ones. There's nothing to do within walking distance but there's a lot just a short drive away. If you're trying to decide between this and the HP Overland/Metcalf this is far superior.”

“Stroud's just started a special on Fridays with ribs. Those ribs are some of the best tender ribs I've ever had. The ribs come with green beans, potatoes (your choice of fries, cottage fries, mashed potatoes with gravy or baked potatoes), soup or salad and the bbq sauce is perfect! Hopefully they will make it a permanent item on the menu”

“They could usually use a few more people working it seems, but they do a good job and the place is well kept after the recent updates. Riley specifically is the guy keeping this place alive- sometimes single handedly it seems.Lanes are good, pinsetters are decent on most lanes, but do act up or mess up the score occasionally. Prices are okay generally. Food and drink options are solid, and the pro shop is a good place for a quick stop if needed.Wish that they had more online services available for league membership and lane reservations- but seems like most alleys are behind on that front in general... Just call in beforehand if you want to check if they are busy.”

“Very nice location with nice rooms. This location was close to where I needed to be. Absolutely loved the space in the room. They were doing construction to part of the hotel but it was no big deal, the staff was super friendly and apologetic about it. The only thing I didn't like about the room was how small the bathroom felt. Felt like I had to squeeze in and try to shut the door. Other than that, spacious room for a family of 4.”
