“This was our first time here. They were very friendly & helpful. The pizza, half chicken bacon ranch & half meat lovers, was delicious, with plenty of everything on it!! The place was very busy but not a long wait at all. Everyone was so cheerful, both workers and customers.”

“This is my go to hardware store for fasteners. They have a large selection of screws, bolts, nuts, and washers. The staff there are always eager to help me find what I need.”

“First time in to buy carpet and had a great experience. Picked a cheaper carpet for a rental earlier in the week, but once I came back in with measurements we found there wasnt enough of the style I wanted...I found another that was a bit more per sq. ft., and they were willing to adjust a little to get me closer to the original one I picked out. End result was great, even my carpet layer was impressed with the quality. Very friendly group.”

“The staff was wonderful. We arrived about 5-10 before they closed. My husband didn't want to enter the store so close to closing time, but the employees motioned us to come in. They also gladly helped us look for the one item we were looking for.”

“Neitzel's Hardware is a down to earth hardware store that carries unique and hard to find items along with items for everyday projects. The staff is always knowledgeable and happy to help. Not only can you find paint and hardware, but they can refill your propane or rent you a U-Haul. I highly recommend this locally owned hardware store.”

“I will never go anywhere else. Joe and his team are THE most helpful kind and generous people I've had the pleasure of doing business with in a long time. Places like this and customer care don't exist anymore. If you have pressure washing questions, this is the place to go.”

“Have a need for materials for your DIY project. My first stop is the Yard Store. A great selection of metals, plastics, and fabrics. Need a tool to put it all together? They probably have that too.Don't see what you are looking for? Just ask one of their friendly staff.12-17-23Back for more. . .You'll have to go down and see the changes! They are bringing fasteners inside to the main building.3/27/24Score a gold star with The Yard Store. My project needed a special part. They had just what I needed.”

“Needed 10” inner tubes for our dolly had them in stock at a $5 price. Update: those inner tubes were replaced shortly after replacing them by getting the whole wheel and tire assembly together. Two years later both tires were shreds. They weren’t terribly expensive and I guess if we need to get new tires prior to using the moving dolly, it would be worth it…..just don’t expect long term wear.”

“Came in the morning needed supplies for moving. The lady at the counter was nice in assisting which aisle to go to and to price match. A man met me at the aisle to help me find the product, helped bring it to the front, and even offered to bring it to my car. It was raining and he still walked it out for me. Been such a long time since I had exceptional customer service. Thank you!”

“A great place to get specific nuts and bolts! Plexiglass cutting took a VERY long time for cutting 3 pieces. She was friendly though. The tatted up white girl as the front cashier hardly grunted at me when she checked out my stuff. Amazing.”

“Medium sized home improvement store just east of Woodlawn and Harry. This place has expanded, mainly to highlight their nice selection of Green Egg and Traeger grills as well as their famous section of Stihl products. The rest of the departments are standard where I’ve mostly found what I needed. The Ace ad is the most reliable in the business to always offer at least one great deal I’m into so I grab one anytime I come in. Unfortunately, I’ve received horrible service here many times so this is definitely not one of the top tier Ace locations. I do, however, recommend it for those in the area needing a convenient hardware stop.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. there is so much of everything it is great just to look around. came in one time for some plumbing supplies and found that i had selected the wrong things so they helped me get the correct items (had to piece together a few things to make it right) and it worked out great. they also have a very friendly cat too. great place.”

“Gotta love yard store. Really like the selection of used tools to add to your order & instead of lugging it home they'll ship it for you. Gentlemen at the place really awesome and knowledgeable of the products offered. A+++”

“Why does the girl at the checkout counter sing at the top of her lungs, IN MY FACE!!?? It's rude! And makes me very uncomfortable. I have seen reactions from other people. We just smile and say, "Oh well." But it does seem like a poor business practice. I'm speaking of 13th St. Ace Hardware, Wichita, KS.”

“Was looking for something specific, staff were helpful in searching for the item. Overall nice well stocked hardware store. Disappointed they don't have much in the way of gifts as some Ace's do.”
8444 W McCormick Ave, Wichita KS 67209
“Friendly , helpful employees. Clean store. It had all the stuff we were looking for. Found 2 employees to help guide us where to go. When we got there, saw another employee who would have been able to help us if we needed it! Self checkout was easy.”

“We have bought many bricks and stones from ACME. I LOVE that store and their employees. They helped me lay out my firepit. Then I had an idea for a barnboard fireplace with stone and stone hearth. They were a huge help in designing it and helping me pick out the stones. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! Thank you.”

“I wish we had Menards in Texas. We traveled from Fort Worth Texas to Whichita Kansas to purchase two garage doors. Their price on the doors was almost $800 less expensive than at our north Texas big box home improvement stores. The service was great, the employees were over the top friendly and helpful! The store itself is super clean and we'll stocked. Great prices and deals throughout the store. To the Menards Senior Management team, please open a store in north Texas,!”

“Today I went in to buy my first drill. When I got home I thought my drill was broken, I called and spoke to Corrin, she was so nice and helpful, but I still couldn't figure it out. She told me to come back and someone could show me how to work it. At the store, Christian showed me how to work it. I felt stilly because I couldn't figure it out but both of them were so kind and non judgemental. I very much appreciate that.”
333 S Ridge Rd, Wichita KS 67209
“Recently purchased a smoker from the west side ridge road lowes. After having multiple troubling experiences with the derby lowes assembly and delivery team, I went back to the west side lowes for help. Manager Bill listened to my concerns and took it upon himself to correct the mistakes that the derby lowes had made multiple times. If it was not for Bill as well as his associate in lawn and garden who was a fire fighter. I definitely would have taken my business elsewhere. I will forever only shop at the west side ridge road lowes!”
8444 W McCormick Ave, Wichita KS 67209
“Went in since the house needed renovations done, and one worker in particular stood out, Ronnie over in plumbing. Talk about 5 star service! He came over to help us when we first came in, and then left when we were done getting what we needed, then when we found out we needed more items and couldn't find them, he came to help out once again, taking the time to help us find the products needed, and then went above and beyond by helping pick out parts that would work better!”

“Among my favorite places to shop, more than a home improvement store for certain. I like their digital flash sales that I receive in my email! The rebate program that they offer is pretty great too.”
