“I don’t know where to begin but when we first moved to the area we were seeking a local bank with a good reputation. Choosing Bank of Prairie Village was one of our best decisions! They are professional, courteous, respectful and caring. They go above and beyond in their service to their customers. It doesn’t matter if you are a multi millionaire or just a “regular” client (I fall under that category!) everyone is treated equally. Kudos to the staff and I don’t know everyone there but in particular I would like to particularly acknowledge Ashley and Brian. I can’t say enough about them! Regardless if I walk in the bank or need something taken care of over the phone I get the same fantastic service. If you are considering selecting Bank of Prairie Village I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Yeah I don’t see how these people have low ratings. Every experience I have had here had been nothing but positive and full of people who go above and beyond their duties to help me. Jeri is great and so is Miss Valasquez, as well as the rest of the associates. The people who have bad reviews were probably being insufferable to the staff and just want to complain.Thank you all for always taking care of me. From the time I opened my account with Nina, who transferred up until now, I’ve had nothing but good people help me.”
“This review is entirely for Joel, who doesn’t even normally work at this branch, but at the Shawnee location. THANKFULLY, he was working here on Saturday, May 23, 2026. After weeks and weeks of headaches involving PoA paperwork and the locked up online banking of an elderly friend, multiple bank appointments, phone calls, and roadblocks, Joel assisted me in a walk-in appointment. He solved my issue in a knowledgeable and swift manner, and was empathetic and kind as he did so. If I could give BoA ZERO STARS—in general— for their protocols, procedures, and lack of client ease and satisfaction, I would. But because Joel saved the day and doesn’t make the policies, he deserves a pat on the back and my sincere gratitude. I would consider banking at his usual branch in the future, but this will not be necessary as I’ll likely be removing any moneys from BoA in short order. If you stay with them, look for Joel! He’s a true professional.??”

A few glitches as they transitioned to the larger corporation BOK (always hate to see that, generally less satisfaction guaranteed), but they've held their own. Can't imagine why anyone would choose the mega, impersonal banks.”
