“I have to say I truly do not like going inside any Grocery store unless I have to. And this specific Dillons I am not a fan of the inside of it snd not always the best customer service inside. But their curbside Pikcup is awesome. They pick my groceries decently well, they also always instantly correct the errors on my receipts every time snd the staff is super friendly snd respectful. Lucky for me it's also super close to my house so makes it easy to make a quick run and back for something. They do have a min of $35 now on their orders like Walmart but that's ok at least I don't sit outside for more then 2-3 min to get my groceries unlike Walmart which has taken over an hour before. What a pain! Anything that saves me time I will lay extra for sometimes because my time is valuable.”
“Easy app ordering then curbside pick up. They are always polite delivering to the vehicle. Notified via email of out of stock or substations. Changes can be made before picking up the order. We have been using this free service long before Covid and it saves time by making a list, shopping on the app, adding and marking items as favorites. Set convenient time to pick up and take home. Easy peasy.”
“I get my gas at Dillon's because of the fuel points. I like the North Topeka store because you can leave your driver's license with the attendant and fill up your car and then pay for it afterwards instead of having to pay for it before you fill up.”
“Just reading reviews .. I seen the post below and thought a response was needed!! I absolutely love this store.. and the management team as well!! I worked with Alex at a different location and he was an amazing manager!! He just had no tolerance for bull! And reading this post it says that u got in trouble for family emergency, deaths in the family and being ill.. well maybe if it seems to happen all the time say ever other day or so... as a bagger you are required to help customers out with groceries, retrieve carts and do light cleaning duties.. when your hired on it is in the job description you are given when hired. "Regardless of weather" it's the job you agree to do when getting hired. Again this store is amazing .. every thing u need you will find here.. very clean and very well managed! Great associates and customer service! And also a great selection in gluten free and health foods!”

“This is a small Dillons. The staff is very friendly and it's easy to find what you're looking for because the store's not so big you have to have a map to figure out where you're at I'm so glad they're here and Derby Kansas you got to go here and try them out”
“We went in for fresh bean sprouts and ginger. Found several items in fresh and canned goods that we were excited to bring home and try. The prices are much more reasonable than chain grocery stores. Produce was fresh. They had frozen meat and seafood also. We will definitely be returning.”

“This is a good corner store. I like that it's local and it has basics + other stuff too. I wish there was a buzzer or a bell to call an employee to the register. I do like the new produce section that's starting up !! Can't wait to have that more often to rely on for fresh groceries and not so much processed food.”

“Very small but packed with hard to find products. I went looking for Berberi spice from Ethiopia. Didn't find it, but it was pleasant, they were very helpful and I found other items to try. Spices, candy, hard to find jarred goods, a frozen section, some fresh items, and dry goods. I will be going back.”

The staff are always friendly and helpful. The store has a good selection of products, and the prices are excellent. Easy 5 out of 5 stars.
UPDATE 9-9-23
I just stopped by the Andover Dollar General to buy groceries, my order was a large full cart order around 170 dollars. Not only was the woman at the checkout quick and got me checked out in no time, but also was very friendly. This is one of the best Dollar Generals around.

“One of my scripts wasn't covered by my insurance. I pulled it up on Good RX. The price on the app was $8.17. The cashier charged me $10.10. It isn't huge but it should have been the quoted price.”

“More new items i bought yesterday and saved money on (AKA) you can't beat savings like this no way no how...that's 2 items 2.99, 1.07 on the middle item and all coupons all savings &'d all worth the time and effort to get bought with Dillons shopping card of coupons filled with savings...Dillons cards are (INDEED) WORTH IT because the coupons on the card paid for before that's why I say it's all worth it ?...”
“Place is always nice and tidy. Staff are pleasant. Prices are more on the pricey end depending on what your looking for. We eat healthy so most of what we get are on the higher end. Like the store but not my go to unless I am short on time.”

“Dillons is the grocery store where I do almost all my shopping—groceries, pet food and care, deli, pharmacy, bakery, and other beauty and hygiene products. They are always helpful and resourceful. I mostly do pickup orders, with the occasional delivery, but I do still shop in the store from time to time as needs require. They recently rearranged (Summer, 2025) their aisles. It makes more sense now. Their prices have dropped on many items as well.”

“To be honest, I enjoyed the store, its security, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere. The only thing I would change is the prices. I was greeted with a smile and treated fairly, and I would 9 out of 10 give it an awesome referral if it wasn't for the prices. Per my understanding, the prices reflect the roughness of the area, having to be so high since they have to make a profit somehow, and theft is rampant in the area. I understand that and am not knocking that fact.”
